  1. Lost to the Nets in 5 games instead of being swept.

  4. WWE has released the poster for the Survivor Series joint brand PPV coming on Sunday, November 27th. The poster depicts a silhouette of Undertaker in the background surrounded by a field of smoke. The caption at the title of the poster reads "The Beginning of the End." Pro Wrestling Dot com
  5. Scored run off Lidge atleast. Let's go bats, damnit.
  6. What a terrible way to lose a game. Jesus Christ.
  7. It's not healthy having Izzy as your closer. He gets the job done more times then not, but yikes, he definitely makes games more nerve racking then they need be.
  8. You really care about cover art? Are you mahfuckas serious? The match listing is good, could be better, I agree. But still very good. Same thing I felt about Ric Flair's DVD when I saw the match listing.
  9. I will be disappointed if this goes 6.
  10. I had hoped the 1-2-3 Kid match from RAW was on there
  11. I thought this would be a better series with Peavy. But not once, after the 4th inning of game one, did I worry about the Cardinals losing this series. NLCS, let's go.
  12. Yankees score all the time. I would never get frustrated if I was a fan cause whenever their pitching is terrible they'll just score a thousand runs.
  13. The Undertaker
  14. I'm concerned about the Padres here, specifically Peavy. And the way Carpenter (And all the starters) has (have) been of late, this is a very dangerous match up for the Cards. The problem for the Padres is winning a extra game in between Peavy's starts.
  15. That's impressive.
  16. Take Pujols out the Cardinals lineup Take Jones out the Braves line up The Braves would lead the Cardinals in OBP, Slugging, BA, Runs Scored...
  17. Sean Mooney is still alive...
  18. John Sterling bitching on the radio saying it was foul. Get the fuck outta here.
  19. 5th terrible start for Carpenter.
  20. You're crazy if you think that. I'd gather he'd get a huge pop. Bigger then Hogan's in Toronto? Doubtful. Certainly bigger than anyone holding a world title on their roster, however. And much bigger then the ones Hogan's getting now. Fans knew Jake the Snake and not UW? Please...
  21. The shots at Hennan were funny and on point.
  22. He got a practice with either the Lions or the Bears last week.
  23. Jets to sign Vinny Testeverde Vinny returning to Jets BY JON HEYMAN STAFF WRITER September 27, 2005, 10:58 AM EDT Vinny Testaverde is returning to the Jets, Newsday has learned. The team is expected to announce the signing of the 41-year-old quarterback this afternoon. Testaverde, 41, will help fill the void left by injuries to starter Chad Pennington and backup Jay Fiedler. Pennington suffered a torn rotator cuff in Sunday's game against Jacksonville and is out for the season. Fiedler also suffered a severe shoulder injury and a source told Newsday he's finished for the year. It was not immediately known whether Testaverde will back up former third-stringer Brooks Bollinger on Sunday at Baltimore. As for Fiedler, any slim hope that he could play again this season could be outweighed by the need to clear a roster spot for a healthy arm. Testaverde played six seasons with the Jets from 1998-2003, leading them to the AFC Championship game in 1998. He spent last season with Dallas, passing for 3,532 yards and 17 touchdowns with 20 interceptions. The Brooklyn native and Sewanhaka graduate was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1987 NFL Draft. He played six seasons with Tampa Bay and five with the Cleveland/Baltimore franchise before joining the Bill Parcells' Jets in 1998. Testaverde enjoyed his best season that year, throwing for 3,256 yards and an AFC-best 29 touchdowns and 101.6 passer rating. He led the Jets to their first playoff appearance since 1991 and their first playoff victory (a 34-24 win over Jacksonville) since 1986. The Jets lost to Denver in the AFC title game. http://www.newsday.com/sports/football/jet...mostemailedlink
