  1. 125+ views and no responses? Thanks, guys.
  2. Don't everybody respond at once, now.
  3. The cage music must be automatically cued when it's lowered. Or something.
  4. Added some more 1995 stuff.
  5. Version 1 is up. Everything from 1999 on is 100% done, the rest is being updated when new information is found. http://www.geocities.com/princeofspace1/ECWTitle.htm
  6. Why is WWE doing a PPV in PR when so few people there can see Raw?
  7. FYI, the World Title is the WCW Title but does NOT have the lineage of the NWA Title (contrary to JR's claims). The WCW Title was a title separate and distinct from the NWA Title until the NWA's collapse in 1993.
  8. He wrestled The Jung Dragons, Jamie Knoble, and Evan Karagias on 2/5/01.
  9. I decided to start in 1997 and move to 2001, then start work on 1992-1996. Now, I'm currently filling in Taz's mid-1999 defenses.
  10. Coming soon, I'll be presenting the most complete list of ECW World Heavyweight Title matches ever compiled. Starting with Steve Gardner's (now-offline) list, I've spent hours researching house show reports, Usenet posts, and other resources to fill in the blanks in the original list. This project should be done by the end of the week and I'll keep updating this thread as I progress in my work.
  11. Say, out of curiosity, who owns the rights to the XPW name and titles?
  12. SSeries 02: 'C'mon Jeff, Goddamit!"
  13. I think Jeff dropkicked Matt, who didn't notice for TWO seconds before selling it.
  14. I agree with a lot of what this article says re: Kerry being 'too nice.' And Mike, unless Kerry actually pursues these 'lawsuits' (read: PR stunts) beyond like a month, I'd say he's being pretty tame in responding to these accusations.
  15. Tough call, but I know the commentary team of Costas and Heenan would be spectacular.
  16. New album + Rush is famous + Rush is Canadian + 'summer' in the title.
  17. The theme songs are nothing more than a marketing tool to promote new albums, nothing more. It appears the only criteria WWE uses when picking the songs is that they 1) come from new albums by big-name established artists or 2) are new bands' first singles that will be pushed heavily by labels/radio. In that sense, it's not really a conscious search for a 'great' song that 'fits' the show; it's a way to get extra $ for shilling for popular rock bands. BTW, Saliva now is tied with Drowning Pool for performing the most PPV theme songs with 4. (No Mercy 01, WMX8, SS02, and UF04.)
  18. Where did you hear that from?
  19. There isn't one; SLH is dead.
  20. See Halloween Havoc 97 for more of those post covers, BTW.
  21. The nWo Saturday Night concept was one of my favorite things about the nWo storyline. I mean, in storylines the nWo was always persona non grata, so it makes sense that they had to tape their matches at Nitro about 3 hours before fans arrived. I also liked how you could see Bischoff and DiBiase sitting in the crowd while doing commentary and making fun of the jobbers.
  22. Who can be worse than Clinton or Bush supposedly are? MILLARD FILLMORE CAN.
  23. I liked the one with Savage as a high-school kid beating his wrestling coach with an elbowdrop off the bleachers.
  24. Did Carly Colon get a vignette tonight?
