Porter resigned with the Raiders and they franchised Woodson. Personally, Porter is better off with Moss because he won't get as much attention thus he'll have more opportunities to make the big play.

I have very little sympathy for the players. First it was with the salary cap deal. Every job in the world has some form of salary cap. You don't go around making what you want, you get pay range like $40,000 - $60,000. Yet the players don't get that for some reason. The second thing with the salary cap is that they accepted. They knew they weren't going to win this time like they did in 1994 yet they still wasted months and months stating there's no way in hell they'll accept a salary cap. The thing about hockey players is that a lot of them just don't get simple economics probably because while they were growing up they were more focused on hockey than education. I know this for a fact as I know a lot of guys who play on teams and hockey is their number one priority.

If they're this close to getting a deal and they cancel the season then they're even bigger morons then I thought.

A 28 game season works for me because every game will actually mean something.

The players will eventually lose in this. If this does stretch into 2 or 3 seasons I'm gonna bet that at least a couple teams will fold which means some players aren't going to be playing in the NHL. I could see some of the owners trying to leave the NHL also and starting up their own league.

Some celebrities and sports stars don't sign autographs simply because they think that they'll end up on Ebay. Some people make a pretty good living doing this. I remember seeing a special about this where the autograph seekers would even pay little kids to get the autograph for them.
