I wouldn't trust Hussein further than I could throw him. Besides, even if they did torture him, who cares? Fucker deserves it.

This is no-contest... although you have to pay attention to the French charts to get it. Pépé et sa guitare - Toé tu l'as

Les Cowboys Fringants' Plus rien. It's about Armageddon, so... yeah.

Did anyone watch the TOR/OTT game tonight? After a fight late in the third, the Corel Centre sound guys started playing Kurt Angle's theme music. Where the WWE crowds usually chant "You Suck," the Sens fans started chanting "Leafs Suck." I didn't know so many Ontarians watched WWE. That might explain the Liberal love.

Stay of execution denied for Stanley "Tookie" Williams
Dogbert replied to Dangerous A's topic in Current Events
If Tookie Williams was white, nobody would care. 95% of the protesters who are currently parked outside the prison, all the while hoisting signs and chanting slogans accusing the Governor and anyone else involved of being Nazis or KKK members, would not be there. There would be no expected rioting in California. It'd be just another execution. However, since Tookie Williams is an African-American (a term which I find to be more disrespectful and offensive than "black," but which I use anyways, 'cause I know I'd be crucified if I didn't), it's the biggest scandal since Rodney King. People must look past the colour of his skin and realize the real reason why Stanley "Tookie" Williams' life will end in half an hour's time: because he killed four persons in cold blood, and was found guilty of these actions by an impartial jury of his peers. Not because Arnold's a Nazi, and not because the Supreme Court are members of the Klan; nay, it will happen because the system worked. -
I really like Lawrence Gowan's music. I'm strange. A strange animal. Argh.

http://letsgopens.pookalooka.com/read.php?board=1&id=362508 Well, everyone's favourite tub of lard is NOT happy about the Penguins' problems. I read the stuff about him waging a battle and all that, and all I could think about was the time they made him job to Mean Gene Okerlund. I can't take that seriously.

The Flames won a physical one against Ottawa in overtime. Good effort from them, as it looked like the winner was going to be the one who could keep from running out of gas the longest.

Well, here you go. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article...e2005&fext=.jsp

Yet another move that makes me look like a genius for not cheering the Nationals anymore after the move. The team is, without a doubt, a fucking disgrace at this point.

TO CHICAGO CUBS: CF Juan Pierre TO FLORIDA: P Sergio Mitre, a couple of scrubs And the firesale continues. All hail Loria.

Ugh. Does anyone else think that MLB needs a salary cap desperately? I mean, I'll be psyched if the Jays get Burnett, but $11 million/season for an above-average pitcher is kinda ridiculous.

This seems funny. I'm not going to actually watch it, because I'd rather watch MNF in total awe that the Seahawks haven't choked yet... but it seems funny.

Seabrook has comparible stats and a better plus minus while playing for the shitty hawks. Stats aren't everything. Seabrook is an offensive defenceman, while Phaneuf isn't. Phaneuf is better defensively, is a better checker and has the intimidation factor. In addition, plus/minus is a useless stat to quote. It doesn't reflect anything whatsoever.

Montador didn't have a place here anymore. He was our number-8 defenceman, and with Richie Regehr and Mark Giordano waiting in the wings, there was no point in letting him sit there and not play.
-
Minor-ish move today, as the Flames pick up Kristian Huselius from Florida for Steve Montador and Dustin Johner. I like this one. Keenan killed Huselius' confidence in Florida, and if Sutter can get it back up again, we'll have a darned good set-up man on the left side.

Grewal isn't running, so they might have a shot, if only a minimal one.
-
It gets worse. Souray and Komisarek are both out as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Sens put up their second 10-spot of the season.
-
You'll probably want to reverse the curve there.
-
I thought about that, but as far as I know, not many World champions have turned that way; usually, it happens within a program, so I stuck with tradition. I'm probably wrong, though, so feel free to correct me.

Why not? Everyone else does. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, they'd need to develop some kind of relationship between Cena and Michaels first, and that'd take a few weeks. I don't think they have that much time.
-
Maybe they're going to pull a double-turn with Angle and Cena? Work with me here... Next week on RAW, Bischoff makes one last Cena/Angle title match to try and impress Vince. Cena wins again. Bischoff comes out and rambles hysterically, which brings out Vince and Shane. Vince says that it's time to "take out the trash," staring down Bischoff... and then the McMahons attack Angle. Cena goes to stop them, then reveals the ruse and joins in the beatdown. Double-turn, marks and smarks alike shit on it... yeah. Honestly, that's the only thing that I can see working for this scenario, and even THAT's crap. They've really booked themselves up the creek here.

6'2", 225 lbs. I need to slim down. I don't know about losing weight... rather stay constant and just build some muscle mass.
-
If they're going to turn Cena heel, someone has to turn the other way. Otherwise, who would Cena turn against? Shawn Michaels?

Well, I don't see the Tories losing seats, and they currently sit at 98. The NDP will likely benefit the most from the Liberals' losses; however, 35 was an overestimation on my part. They'll likely end up with ~30, with the Bloc making up the ground.
