You could keep him limited to interview segments and guest commentary, while rehearsing Cena/Batista II at house shows leading to Mania. Maybe have him squash someone in the midcard/upper card scene who could afford it. Like Mark Henry or Kane. Only if Batista were ready though.

Don't forget the storyline of Whisenhunt supposedly being promised the Steelers coaching job once Cowher took his 3 or 4 year break, but the combination of him having such a shitty interview and Tomlin having a surprisingly great interview led to Tomlin getting the job. There's that sweet revenge plot of Ken Whisenhunt coming back with the...Fucking Arizona Caridnals??!! and possibly beating the Steelers. Nobody could have scripted that any better.

After how long this team was always talked up as being the darkhorse to cause problems in the NFC for what, 7 or 8 years? When most of the media thought they'd be lucky to win 4 games once Leinart was benched for Warner. And I'm glad to see one of the more underrated defensive players in the league, and the guy people made fun of for not leaving the team when he had a chance too... Adrian Wilson.
