The Joe vs. Morishima match is tentatively set for around October time next year so that the DVD will be released for Thanksgiving and sales will be at their best.

Ric Flair and The Anderson's attacking Dusty Rhodes in the cage in Atlanta. Jim Cornette handcuffing Bob Armstrong to the cage at Fire on the Mountain in 1992 and smashing him in the chest with the tennis racquet about 20 times. Cornette took his time with each shot which just added to the drama. Of course, you had the whole deal with the ring announcer going over the P.A asking for people to make room for ambulance and the scene of Bob being loaded onto a stretcher and getting put into the ambulance.

Never mind. Nobody should be surprised that Russo's response to being told about his mistakes is to keep on making them. He's never learned from his mistakes in the past, and it doesn't look like he's going to start now. -

Look for the usual overbooking to go into overdrive for that Impact. -
A note on the Amy Zidian release. According to the latest F4W, Johnny Ace got heat over it because he had pushed hard for her to get in. And ONS: 3 is currently set to come from the Hammerstein Ballroom.

The rating was a 1.5, which appears to be what ECW is set to do for the time being.

Gabe just posted that Joe looks to be out of the ROH shows coming up because of the knee injury he suffered at the TNA tapings. -
Mike is shitting bricks right about now.
-
You mean Mike never told anyone that he let Paul back? I'm shocked.
-
Mike let him back because he doesn't want negative feedback on his eBay account. He's at a lowly 99.2% now.

They already burned it out. Joe vs. Angle II looks set to draw the same number of buys as every other TNA PPV.

The thing is, you could put a lot of guys in Cena's current spot and they would make just as much money, but instead they would also put on good wrestling matches. Who are these guys you speak of? And putting on good wrestling matches is nice, but that doesn't mean anything if you can't get the people to pay money to see you wrestle those matches. There is nothing special about Cena that justifies why he needs to be the #1 face in the company. Except for his drawing ratings, PPV buys and selling a ton of merchandise. As long as he keeps that up, that's all the justification needed to for him to the #1 face. Yes, you could put a lot of people in Cena's spot but few of them would get as crazy over as Cena has. Cena is over and over big. It's not even up for debate given what he draws.

I watched the ladder match and it's brutal. They took some ungodly punishment. It's insanity that a match like that gets thrown on PPV with no warning. Hardy's + Ladder Match = PPV buys.

Why does Joe suddenly have a woman friend for no reason? It makes no sense for Joe’s character to have any allies, and yet all of a sudden he’s got a girlfriend/friend. Why? And why does Joe care about her? He hasn’t cared about anyone or anything since he came to TNA and yet here he is caring about this woman who’s appeared out of nowhere with no rhyme or reason as to why she’s around. And the Iron Man stipulation makes absolutely no sense for the issue involved. If it’s personal and the big angle leading up to the announcement of the stipulation is a wild brawl between Joe and Angle, then why isn’t their match a streetfight, a falls count anywhere match or something else that fits an issue that’s personal and a grudge so heated that the two people involved had this crazy brawl that went all over the arena? Have they even explained why Joe can’t be put into singles matches? I thought Joe had been cooled off over summer, but they've put him in deep freeze now.

Leon Spinks wrestled???? Any details on that one? He wrestled in FMW a couple of times. The question is, who led Dixie Carter to think some kind of response from WWE would happen? The angle is a Russo deal so probably Russo. -

More good news: No Fedor and Cro Cop and now no Silva.

I hope they think it was worth it for a surprise match that might have drawn some buys had they announced it ahead of time.

Congratulations to TNA for turning Joe vs. Angle into just another match. I didn't think they could do it. Didn't see this: -
According to Cornette, the serious heat began over the way the Gangsta's left SMW for ECW, with Heyman apparently having something to do with the Gangsta's walking out of the group early and not putting over Tracy Smothers and Tony Anthony on the way out. There was also the deal where part of the agreement of getting Cornette to come into ECW for one-shot was openly making amends with Dennis Coraluzzo and allowing ECW wrestlers to work for Coraluzzo and it wound up with Heyman only shaking hands with Coraluzzo in front of only Cornette and then claiming to everyone Coraluzzo broke their new agreement, and the way Heyman conned Cornette, through an unwitting Chris Candido, into sending him SMW tapes for footage of Tammy Fytch that Heyman wanted to use for the episode of ECW on TNN where she did that teary eyed interview talking about her many problems, and Heyman sending the tapes back late and not paying the agreed upon money for them.

Two additional pieces of news: Dixie Carter not only expected a response from WWE over the VKM stuff but also that a match would be worked out. The Naturals are no more it seems:
