  1. Should I be surprised at the near complete lack of reaction that Masters got?
  2. If only they had pushed him like this from day one.
  3. Is there meant to be something wrong with it?
  4. HTQ, along with a few other posters, are the glue that holds together the wrestling forums on TSM. HTQ knows a lot about wrestling; some have even said he knows an unhealthy amount. Knowledgeable and insightful, if there was one flaw with HTQ, and some would say that it really isn’t a flaw, it is that he doesn’t tolerate the ignorant and the stupid very well. He was at his best in the WCW history thread, and has also contributed a lot to the WWF history and Old School Questions thread.
  5. Discombobulation
  6. Iggy is quite possibly the most clueless and uninformed person on the wrestling forums, and that covers a lot of ground. As bad as the likes of JoeJoe and Rrrsh are, Iggy is far worse because he doesn’t know enough to know that he doesn’t know enough. Just a complete waste of space on the wrestling forums, Iggy is someone else who should turn the computer off and walk away. Possibly into traffic if a freeway or intersection is nearby. He should post more often, but I can see why he doesn’t. Unlike others mentioned, MisawaGQ does know what he is talking about, which makes for a refreshing change around here. We could do with more posters like him, but it’s hard to make a case to convince them to stick around when you’ve got a tide of stupid to swim against. W4F is not quite as bad as JoeJoe or Iggy, because there does appear to be a vague sense of intelligence in his posts. Unfortunately, when he’s shown up in a thread, he tends to rant and rave and act like everyone else is wrong, and you realize that he doesn’t quite have what it takes to be a truly valued contributor to the forums. It’s sad really. I can take or leave BL, and not really care. Nothing against BL, as he seems ok most of the time, but I can’t think of anything about him that makes me want to pay close attention to what he has to say. I’ve nothing bad to say about cabbageboy. He has a decent handle on things, and while I don’t agree with some of what he says, at least he doesn’t act like he knows more than he does. That in itself can be just as important as knowing a lot of stuff, because it leave you open to learning and understanding things you don’t know about, and that’s a good thing.
  7. JoeJoe. The Valedictorian of Stupid School, JoeJoe is the kind of poster that makes you want to gouge your eyes out just to make the pain stop. I put this twerp on Ignore not long after he appeared because it was clear that reading his drivel was going to be more trouble than it was worth, and after accidentally catching his crayon etched rantings these past few days I knew I made the right decision. I think deep down he knows he is in way over his head when it comes to any kind of debate that requires actual knowledge and understanding of wrestling, but he clearly isn’t able to deal with this, so walks around with his cheeks puffed out and shouts around to try and hide the fact that he doesn’t know what the fuck he is talking about. I think the board would be best served by JoeJoe turning his computer off, walking away, and doing something else to pass the time. I suggest becoming a crash test dummy.
  8. I think Bret might not want to do that, if only because doing so would cause Vince to bring up Montreal every other week. Bret wants to move on from Montreal, and pissing Vince off so that he keeps rehashing it, more than he usually does, would make that impossible.
  9. On The LAW last night, Meltzer said that TNA will be bringing in Liger whenever his schedule allows for it. He also said that Ultimo Dragon is also wanting in as well.
  10. Call them Hunter's Henchmen, and have them literally be a group of bootlickers.
  11. The storyline reason was that he had violated his contract, which was pretty much the truth. He'd failed a drugs test.
  12. Some people like the shiny wrapping covering the box. Some people actually take the time to look inside the box.
  13. And neither statement makes any kind of sense. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Has anything in this thread made sense? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Only in Bizarro World.
  14. And neither statement makes any kind of sense.
  15. I'm still trying to work out how Bret Hart is overrated because Canadians like him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like Bret Hart and I am from Ohio. You don't get more Canadian then that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a Canuck invasion.
  16. I'm still trying to work out how Bret Hart is overrated because Canadians like him.
  17. I prefer Benoit over DK, but I don't know that I'd call Benoit better without watching a bunch of DK stuff first. I like Danielson too, and he is really good, but I think he's just a little below Benoit and DK.
  18. I'd say Bret, if only because he at least 'got his shit in' in a different order from time to time. Not to mention his non-five moves stuff looked credible, and he didn't do comedy bumps that made it impossible to maintain the illusion of legitimate competition.
  19. Just a shame his logic and argument had more than a few holes. It's threads like this that make it hard to care enough to educate people when you have people who can't seem to grasp very simple concepts.
  20. Um, that's describes Michaels too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quiet. You'll expose the flaws in his argument.
  21. The Ignore list grows.
  22. NWA Television: January until Clash of the Champions X – Part 3
  23. Good call. I'd recommend putting ALL fanboys on ignore (not just the HBK ones). It'll make reading threads like these a lot easier. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I swear the collective IQ level of the board drops with each post people like that make. I don't know how they manage to type anything at all from the pain they have to be in from their knuckles scraping along the ground. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> For the record, I think Shawn's a great worker. I just don't think that he's the best like some fans like to claim. I look at both Austin and Bret (his contemporaries) as being better. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To me, Shawn is a good worker, whose ego gets in the way of him being a great worker. As a performer he can be one of the best, but as a wrestler, and there is a big difference, he's below average. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Speaking of that, I thought it was kind of weird how he put Hogan down the night after their match. Why would he shake Hogan's hand if we was just going to put him down the next night? It makes no sense in terms of the storyline. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It wasn't done for storyline. It was done for ego.

  25. The PWI Awards are worked anyway.
