TNA Wrestler Speaking Ill Of The Booking Committee
Hunter's Torn Quad replied to a topic in TNA Wrestling
I probably wouldn't want Mantell to head my booking committee, but I would for sure want him to be part of it. Mantell almost single-handedly turned around the IWA promotion in Puerto Rico and was a major factor in sparking a wrestling war between IWA and WWC that easily rivalled the Monday Night Wars in the US. Anyone who has had that kind of success is someone you want on your team. -
So they all just randomly interfere? That's weak. Each man can go after the guy who beat them, and the guy who they beat comes out to stop them from interfering, and so on.
-
If they worked it out so that the match ended in a mass brawl, it would probably be exciting enough to cover for the match ending in a non-finish. People might not even notice if the brawl is crazy enough.
-
If another poster is ignoring you, then they have no obligation to tell you why. If a poster is getting suspended or the like, however, they probably should be told why.

It's still Batista v Triple H III as far as I know.

Dude, that is what happened last year. HHH was in the premier feud without a belt while Kane was in the secondary feud with the belt. And if you throw in the HIAC match, I think even the thickest of people will remember something strangely similar happening almost exactly a year ago. So what? The symmetry of screwing faces out of the title at Survivor Series 8 years in a row didn't bother the WWE, nor did having a face win the Royal Rumble for 20 years, so I don't see why similar main events for the June/July PPVs with different results should bother anyone. Because it will feel like a case of same shit, different year. And it will be the same shit, in a different year. Things are bad enough without pretty much re-running what you did a year ago.

Batista shouldn't lose the belt this soon, and Edge shouldn't drop the pinfall here, even if it is due to Kane. I can see Kane getting Batista DQ'd by attacking Edge, and then ending Raw with Batista and Kane squaring off to tease their singles match. Whatever happens, this is one match that should not have a pinfall ending.

...why would you even put this in your sig? It's a bad allegory about TSM's mods being "dictators" or something, but it's written in an ironic tone, as if it's supposed to be funny. It's not. I take great offence to this. I've never held myself to a high ideal.

He was charged in relation to the drugs found at his house. I don't remember off hand what came of them. Yes. He wanted to give MMA one last try before he got too old. He was released. Zach had a tremendous ego and rubbed just about everyone the wrong way, and that, combined with their being nothing else they could do with him led them to let him go. He threatened to beat up a cop and tried to carry said threat out.

Last minute deal.

They were going at about 100mph at the time. Not sure why Sid felt that the right time to play with the sun roof was when he was driving at such a high speed, but that's Sid for you.
-
When Warrior walked out, Sid was brought back to replace him, including taking his place on those house shows.
-
Total fabrication. Pam came out with Diesel because he was the top babyface and she was the top star on the show. Simple logic.

Whether he knows what he's talking about or not, you're the last person who should have a go at anyone for not knowing what they're talking about.

We can also hope that Jamie Noble's return takes place before they give up on the Cruiserweights. -

Have Juvi and Nicho side with Eddie, and Super Crazy and Essa side with Rey, and watch the six-man greatness unfold. You can also mix and match various combinations in tags and singles as well. -

Assuming it's an accurate quote, it sounds like something Konnan would say. -

Translation: I'm bitter and jealous over not being part of the committtee. -
Even though he failed a drugs test right before WM VIII, Sid was let go after a dispute over a house show main event with Warrior a few weeks later, which saw Sid walk out. Warrior and DBS were fired because Vince found out they were using, I believe, GHB to try and get around the steroid testing, which was legit back then, and he felt he had no choice over the matter.

I'm inclined to think that Eric shows up at ONS, calls out his Raw team, only for nobody to come out, leaving Eric to get the shit kicked out of him.

Only over other people.

I don't know what gives you that idea.

The problem with keeping Austin around is that sooner or later the fans are going to want to see him wrestle, and he can't do that, beyond one match, maybe two if he's lucky. All he can do is give Stunners to people, and that's not something you can work with a whole lot outside of leading to that one match that he may not even be able to go through with.
