  1. With how overworked Mistico has been over the past couple of years, he deserves the break.
  2. The Mistico deal fell through, plus he's very banged up right now and is out of action for up to three months with a bad neck injury.
  3. Common sense hasn't exactly been Kennedy's hallmark this year.
  4. That angle sounds fantastic and I think it would have gotten over huge. Sadly, it was never going to happen, because the right people didn't come up with it.
  5. Wrestler of the year: Are we talking from a pure ability standpoint, or overall value to the company? For ability, I'd go with Jeff Hardy, but for value I'd go with John Cena. Worst wrestler of the Year: Khali. Most Improved Wrestler: Jeff has had his head together in this run, for the most part, and it's showed in the ring. I don't think that counts as improvement of his actual ability, but it counts for his improvement in his application. Most Underachieving Wrestler: Kennedy. His performance in the tag match last month with Shawn was comical on many levels. Just completely underwhelming in all areas. Best Tag Team: None stand out. Worst Tag Team: BDV and Mark Henry. Best Heel: Edge. The best heel in the company, and should be the heel to build the company around. Best Face: John Cena. Best Diva: Beth Phoenix. Worst Diva: Kelly Kelly. Can she even act like she's breathing?. Match of the Year: John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton from Backlash. A fantastic match with the best finish of the year. Worst Match of the Year: Anything with Khali. Quote of the Year: Nothing stands out. Best Comeback: Nothing stands out. Mark out moment of the year: Ted DiBiase buys the victory in the battle royal. Funniest moment of the year: Mae Young jumping Vince McMahon's bones. Mae Young is my guilty pleasure. Best brand: Raw. . Worst brand: ECW. Best PPV: Wrestlemania. Worst PPV: NYR. Best Feud: John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels. When WWE want to book a compelling feud, they can do it very well. Worst Feud: Bobby Lashely vs. Vince McMahon. Worst Moment of the Year: The Vince McMahon death angle. Not the angle itself, but how they treated it like the numerous real deaths that have taken place.
  6. Did they do any follow up between Hardy and Hunter over their match at the PPV?
  7. It's easy to miss that part of things when you're rushing to make judgments.
  8. They're live just about every week now that Alvarez has taken over. And I don't know if they'll talk about the TNA script; I just said that if someone calls in and asks about it, they might.
  9. How do you know? On one of his most recent radio shows, Bryan Alvarez said that someone in TNA had sent him an actual script and that he was thinking of posting it sometime. Earlier tonight, whoever it was that sent him the script uploaded it and posted it on the F4W message board. I expect it'll get talked about at some point on WOL tonight if someone wants to call in and check the veracity of the script.
  10. It's already in the can, so they can't change things too much from the script.
  11. Edge over Batista and Undertaker Orton over Jericho Michaels over Kennedy Hunter over Hardy Phoenix over James Khali over Finlay MVP over Rey BDV and Henry over Punk and Kane when Henry pins Punk to set up a title match
  12. Script for Impact on 1/3/08
  13. If you watch enough Flair matches, you see the pattern just about every time. Not that it's a bad thing, because as has been said, if the formula works, why changed it? But the formula is there.
  14. For all his talents, Flair was formulaic in his big matches. Even his biggest fans admit that. It's not like he's the only one.
  15. It was originally going to be Luger, but they felt that was too predictable so were going with Sting, and would have done so had Hogan not hooked himself up with what he saw was going to be the next big thing.
  16. Tons of wrestling videos 1,350 videos, mostly of clips from the NWA and WCW, as well as some from Japan. There's videos from most of the Clashes, maybe even all of them, as well as numerous other NWA and WCW PPV's.
  17. Angle and Team 3D are very likely winning, so their matches will be shown. The six-man opener as well, and the tag title match is probable as well.
  18. The full Dome show card, in order:
  19. Sapp has a level of charisma and personality that translates to any audience. I have no doubt Sapp could get Rock/Hogan level big. None at all.
  20. I don't know that I'd put this match up for quite some time yet.
  21. So basically, he's like Rikishi circa 2000 except he's black and he's ripped? But with a million times the charisma and personality.
  22. They'll turn Lashley heel and have her manage him.
