While Sapp would have to be handled correctly due to his limitations, he's got so much charisma and personality that to screw things up with him you'd either have to be completely inept or deliberately trying to fail with the guy. -
The Polo one was funny. Herc was on his way out anyway, but I'd have fired him on the spot for pulling shit like that with one half of my Wrestlemania main event.

I would definitely catch the replay. The fights range from good to great, and there are some highlight reel moments that you'll want to see for yourself. And now for some YouTube greatness: -
It's a great show, and it's a free one, so here's the link: http://www.f4wonline.com/free/121107bvshow.mp3

People can say 'it's all Russo's fault' but I thought it was Jeff Jarrett and Dutch doing the all booking? And Russo's job is just to turn into a tv show. Heck, you could even say he's doing a good job considering impact manages to be semi coherent. The booking is Jarrett, Russo and Mantel, with suggestions from a few others, but those three being the main team. Jarrett makes the final call, but Russo's influence has been obvious from the day he came back, with it becoming more stronger in recent weeks.

A rhetorical question, but why couldn't Chris Jericho squash Santino like RVD did?

Vader was told by the English speaking producer to 'ham it up' when the host asked the "Is wrestling fake?" question. He did, and apparently it went too far for the hosts liking, and he filed charges. In that respect, it started out as a work, but it turned very real, including the arrest and detainment.

A couple of notes from WOL on Sunday. The Raw WM main event is currently going to be Batista vs. HHH, with, if that is the working idea, something done on Raw tonight to start the ball rolling. Batista is also probably going to be the heel, as they seem to be setting him up to lose the World title at the PPV, with the heel turning coming off of that. Also, the new contract for Raw on USA expires at around the same time as the TNA deal expires with Spike, and Dave speculated that it's possible Vince will try to play USA and Spike against each other to get a good deal and potentially replace TNA on Spike, which Spike might want because it would give them WWE and UFC, and make them the top cable name. This would leave TNA out in the cold, with it being unlikely that USA would want them and no other major network to go to. -

Getting a deal on Spike TV Getting Spike to expand their timeslot to two hours Doing well in the ratings DVD's in national chains International tv deals. Going into new markets for PPV and drawing well Toy deal Video game on the way Making women's wrestling in America actually mean something for the first time in a long time. Introducing us to the comic genius that is Kevin Nash Yeah, your right. They've done nothing at all. Sure, on the surface, they've done a lot, and I never said otherwise. But if you actually look a little closer, while they've done a lot, they've done nothing with it. They've never made a dime in profit, and with their primary revenue source, PPV buys, showing no sign of increasing a lot above their baseline of 20,000-25,000 buys, they don't look like they'll be making money any time soon. Surviving is nice, but making money is nicer. -

As a ppv seller, it sucks. There's no positive way to spin that and I didn't say there was. However, just because they're ppv sales are low, should we dismiss everything else they've accomplished? What have they accomplished? Sure, they've survived when nobody thought they would, and are on Spike in prime time, but they're also doing 20,000 PPV buys a month which is around the same number of buys they were totaling a month with the weekly PPV's. That was five years ago. Way to go, TNA. -

There's a positive way to spin the fact that even with around a million viewers a week for Impact, they only over get around 20,000 of them to buy their PPV's every month? -
Jim Cornette and the Heavenly Bodies invade WCW This is the unedited version that aired on SMW TV.

The story was they considered Butterbean nothing more than a gimmick, and thought Gunn was tough enough to knock him out. As for Bob Sapp, WWE wanted to bring him in for the spot Bobby Lashley wound up getting, but K-1 stepped in to block it, because they were in the midst of a contract dispute with Sapp at the time.
