  1. How is Bush different from Reagan, policy-wise?
  2. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/13/business...agewanted=print
  3. http://hotair.com/archives/2006/10/12/lanc...ailable-on-web/ I feel dirty for linking to her site.
  4. I'm pretty sure that probably doesn't include wars, especially the war with Iran in the 1980s.
  5. The Family Research Council: Vote Scorecard for the 109th Congress, 1st Session Mark Foley: 69% lol, 69. Dennis Hastert: 100%
  6. That'll be the first time anyone is Washington did anything about climate change. *rimshot* *rimjob*
  7. My friend's dad (an oft-drunken distillery worker) was on the grand jury that indicted our governor here in KY.
  8. Real recognize real.
  9. Okay, maybe I was a little hard on you. Let's be buds?
  10. That's what I thought, Chalmers.
  11. That is wonderful.
  12. Russ is running, I'm pretty sure. He may have no chance in hell, but he's running.
  13. Okay, I just noticed that the blog I got that from simplified the posts. So what they actually said wasn't so dumb.
  14. Mark Warner not running in '08. Boo-urns.
  15. So the British medical journal Lancet put out a study that estimated that 655,000 Iraqis have died as a result of the war since 2003. I don't know if that's right or not, but I do think these blog posts are funny (via here): 1. 655,000 is an awfully big number. That would mean that this war killed a whole lot of people. (Jane Galt) 2. If 770 extra people were dying in Iraq every day, why don't we hear about them on the news? (Gateway Pundit) 3. The study was published before the election. (Instapundit) (Political Pitbull) 4. The peer-reviewed paper must be bogus because the editor of the Lancet goes to anti-war rallies. (Anti-Idiotarian Rotweiler) 5. The pre-invasion death rates are too low. Surely, Saddam was filling mass graves two months before the invasion. (Chuck Simmins) 6. Those peacenik scientists wish there were more dead Iraqis. ("When the statistics announced by hospitals and military here, or even by the UN, did not satisfy their lust for more deaths, they resorted to mathematics to get a fake number that satisfies their sadistic urges," Omar Fadil.) 7. I just know the study's wrong, but I can't figure out how. Math people? (Michelle Malkin) 8. Sure the study's methodology is standard for public health resesarch. But don't forget that public health is a leftwing plot. (Medpundit) 9. These "statisticians" say that you can take a small sample from a large population and learn a lot about the whole population. As if. I'll believe those 665,000 Iraqis are dead when they tell me so. (Tim Blair)
  16. I actually read a whole article about this in the New Yorker. President Bush always says "Democrat Party." It makes 'em sound like rats. The author thought that that it was intentional.
  17. On another note, I know his election isn't even going to be close, but Eliot Spitzer has the best freakin' political ads I've ever seen. http://www.spitzerpaterson.com/main.cfm?ac...&s=spitzer3 Let It Shine, Fighting For, & Tribute, for example.
  18. And I'm sure whomever Czech called a cocksucker really is one.
  19. How about we suspend tattle-tails & narcs instead of quality posters?
  20. I think JustPassinBy is an older poster named SideFXs that I used to pick on every now and then. At least they post very similarly and have similar problems with grammar.
  21. You think Talent's gonna end up winning? I saw them debate on MTP Sunday and wasn't terribly impressed by either, but McCaskill seemed better than Talent (of course, I'm extremely biased). Hasn't that race had a big focus on stem cells?
  22. Yahoo I'm 3-2 (2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE) QB Rex Grossman RB Tiki Barber RB Stephen Jackson RB Willie Parker RB Warrick Dunn WR Terrell Owens WR Amani Toomer WR Hines Ward WR Bernard Berrian WR Jerricho Cotchery WR Braylon Edwards TE Jeremy Shockey TE Kellen Winslow K David Akers DEF San Diego
