Dennis Haskins said Ed Alonzo (who was a legit magician/actor hired to play Max) wasn't really catching on after the first season, so they felt he was expendable. They also said it was taking way too long to set up his tricks for such short scenes.

Should he decide to try TNA, I'm going to SO love Noble vs. Styles, Noble vs. Petey Williams, etc. WWE has got to be losing it. I can understand bringing back past stars with some notoriety (Hogan's nostalgia pops, Piper, Snuka's appearances, etc.). But now they're digging up Ministry rejects to build this JBL/UT feud? Gangrel I'm cool with since I dug the whole Brood gimmick, but Vis was never, and could never BE over. Smackdown needs help, and he's who we get? Damn.

Maybe Simon could get Rosey to turn heel on Hurricane and attempt to "get him in shape". Nova/Hurricane could have some good matches, as opposed to two minute undercard filler.

Satanico beat me to it concerning Psycho Cop Returns. It's funny that that got a mention, since Sass and I were talking about that movie no more than two weeks ago in one of the Hardcore Discussion threads. And for all the times I saw it on late night cable, I've never, ever seen the first Psycho Cop.

It's a throwback to another old gimmick (Bodydonna's), but Nova has improved greatly since his time in OVW. It's a midcard gimmick for sure, but I think he'll pull it off well.

They were never booked to work each other in XPW. You're thinking of CZW. Kaos was going to work Messiah in CZW, but Rob Black used his political pull and threatened Kaos' XPW job if he appeared, so Chris Hamrick subbed for Kaos. Their only matches were in JCW and PCW, and they most definitely have no heat with one another and never have. They've always been the best of friends, dating back to their XPW days, and have kept in constant contact ever since Messiah left XPW (Kaos is one of the few guys Messiah really trusted during the thumb ordeal). I knew they were booked in CZW, I meant that XPW did something to negate the deal. Also, I meant the heat between the promotions, not between Kaos and Messiah. Probably could have worded that better.

The E! True Hollywood Story wasn't that good. No real major gossip or anything. It was much more interesting hearing some firsthand accounts from Dennis Haskins when I met him about certain DRAWMUH~! (like the tension between Mario Lopez and the guy who played Johnny Dakota (the pot smoking movie star)). I guess Tiffani and Mario had just broken up, and "Dakota" was dating her, which is how he got the guest role. Mario wasn't too cool with him, apparently.

I just go to community college for now since I pay for tuition myself. Though my sister and a ton of my friends started up this week, and I've been invited to my fair share of bashes lately.

I had a few last night too, but nothing major. I went to a concert last night and the ensuing afterparty, and hadn't eaten much all day, so if I kept drinking I would have been hurting.
