The last thing the Pistons need is another big. 7 of their roster spots are PF/C. They need backcourt help. And Denver has nothing to offer up there. Except maybe JR Smith.

Mo Williams is about to get overpaid out the ass. He is a free agent too, and I don't think they could hold on to him for under 8-9 a year. So Chauncey for 13 wouldn't be a killer for them. i don't think its a good idea for either side, but the money between Mo and Chauncey isn't going to be that big.

Lebron was bigger than basically the entire 86' boston team and just as atheletic as the guy that did drop 63. We are talking about two different eras here, but seriously, who the fuck could they have put on him to stop him from putting up 80 on them? Um...how was NJ or Miami inferior teams? And how the hell does Billups just disappear in big spots. I swear dude, have a bad series and all history goes flying out the fucking window. Detroits problem is that the A: Never post up Billups anymore which was pretty much unstoppable for a few years B: they Iso Rip now instead of running him off screens the way he used to C: they are so good one on one defensively that they never have to double anyone. So when they actually do need to double, they are completely lost on defense. D: They think they are better than any other team in the league and pick and choose when to play hard. Billups isn't worth keeping if he is looking for a max contract. They need more depth at the guard positions because they are fucking stacked up front with Wallace, Mcdyess, Johnson, Maxiell, Mohammad, Webber and Davis. Thats just too many bigs. Flip murray and the remains of Lindsey Hunter do not count as a reliable backup backcourt. Basically, they are still a good team but everything from coaching to management has flaws in it. Tiny flaws that can easily be fixed.

So making double to go to a team that made the playoffs in the east and has abonifide superstar that is under 24 is less pretigous than returning to a basketball team with no returning starters from their championship team? Really? How about going and looking up how that has worked out for past championship winners. He is going to have to REBUILD in Florida right now. They are no longer a powerhouse. He can either rebuild at 3 million a year and the risk of his best players bolting EVERY YEAR or you can go the the NBA, get paid DOUBLE to coach a team where the best player is locked up for 6 years. I am not understanding your logic here.

Dog fighting is fucking cruel. But you don't get arguements from me on hunting but to say dog fighting isn't that big a deal is just wrong. There is just so much wrong with this paragraph. The whole last sentence is completely insane for anyone who knows anything about the sport. How is this a step down in prestige. Thats like saying winning a Oscar is a step down in prestige from winning a golden globe. To coach in the pros is the pinnicle of coaching in basketball. You are saying getting a job where there is only 30 openings is less prestigious than a job where there are like 250 openings. He is getting paid more to work at the top of his profession. He won two years in a row in college because he got a group of guys that all decided to forgo millions of dollars and come back for another season. The chance of that ever happening again is slim to none. There is a reason his back to back was impressive in this day and age. The true talents of the college game smartly get the fuck out the first chance they get.

I need to clarify, its a great move by Donovan, not so great move by the Magic. There were better coaches to be had. But Billy had nowhere to go but down after the last two years in Florida. And trust me, at the end of year 3 when he has a mediocre team instead of a championship team, there would have been rumblings in florida. I understand that ESPN can be nausiating with its coverage, but don't let the annoying talking heads fool you, you saw one of the great playoff performances ever last night. On the road in the East finals to take back home court with a entire team of players who couldn't buy a shot. And honestly, the thing that separates Jordan from all the "Better than jordan" guys is an unstoppable move. You couldn't stop jordans fade away. He jumped too high and could hit it with his eyes closed. Until Lebron gets one of those(unstoppable move) or anyone else, they won't be a better scorer than Jordan. But lets not pretend being better than jordan is a unattainable goal. Because you know....there are those other guys.
