[sigh] I used to work at Von's Pavilions, which is like Whole Foods (or any organic-like store) and I hated it, but I used to put on this fake ass smile to get by, and this lady used to always compliment me on it, like "You're a really nice guy" or "You have such an easy going smile". She asked me what I wanted to do and I said I wanted to be in the entertainment industry. She said her husband worked for Fox Sports and could hook me up. At the time I was going to school, so when I got offer a spot as a grip for the Best Damn Sports Show I had to decline because it was from 12-8pm or later depending on when they'd wrap up. He respected that I wanted to finish school, kept my number on file and called me after I graduated and he had moved to Technicolor, so he offer me a position with excellent pay and a chance to keep acting, so I took it.
