THe one big problem that everyone seems to be missing is that Teenagers enjoy the garbage food, the greasy Pizza, The Baked Potatoes, THe Fried Chicken, etc., you take that food off then menu and replace it with Salads, Tofu, Vegetables, etc., and you know what will happen? A lot less kids are going to be eating lunch at school. That healthy crap is much more expensive then the junk the schools can purchase in bulk, so not only will the prices go up, but much of it will end up being wasted, becuase no one is going to eat the healthy stuff. Yeah sure, every High School has the handfull of ultra lib teens that refuse to eat the junkfood for whatever misguided reasons they might have, but that's far from the norm. The government shouldn't have to babysit and make sure you eat healthy. As for Gym class, it was rapidly on the way out when I graduated in 2003. By the time I graduated, it went from 4 years manadatory, to 2 years, and now I hear that it's only one year now. Schools are so afraid of Lawsuits now that stuff like Gym often ends up being the first thing cut because it basically lends itself to children getting hurt.

I had to drive about 40 minutes to find a theater that was playing this, but man was it worth it. I'm honetly not sure what sort of message the movie was trying to promote, whether it was intended to be a satire of lobbyists, or a more libertarian view of "Don't listen to what other people tell you, research and make your own decisions" sort of message, it could really be seen either way. The film is basically just a story about a lobbyist for the Tobacco Industry, and how he uses his charm and charisma to defend the business he represents. It's a very funny, somewhat dark, and cynical film that really has to be seen. It's currently in limited release now, but it expands to more theaters on Friday, and next week, so try and catch it if you can, because this could be the sleeper hit of the year, plus Katie Holmes sex scene, no tits, but you do get to see a pretty decent amount of ass, so you can't lose!

These came off the Gamefaqs Board, they sound legit to me Oh dear lord, Giant Singh vs Undertaker? Good god, that better be some kind of fucking joke. I guess Ortons suspension is effective as of ater this show, which is fine, rather that then bait and switch the fans and not have the match at all. King of the Ring returning? Eh, not sure where they're going with that. Sounds like a good show overall though.

Lashly needs to get traded to RAW, he's done everything he can on Smackdown, and will only go down from here. I want Finlay and Burchill to get a push. Finlay is more likely then Burchill. Carlito needs to turn face and have a main event run.

Eh, this show was all right. The Ladder match was good, so was Foley vs Edge. THe Smackdown World Title match was too short, and Triple H vs Cena had good drama, but wasn't too great of a match. Undertaker vs Henry put me to sleep, and I didn't wake up until the end of Michaels vs Vince, so I missed both of those. The Womans match was about as good as could be expected, which is to say it sucked. That botched ending was hysterical. Rey, Triple H, and Cena's entrances were all horrifying, that's all I have to say.

Does anyone know a good free program that will convert a wmv file to a format I can burn into a bootable DVD in Nero? ALl the trial programs I've found so far will either only convert half the file unless you pay 25 dollars for the full version, or will convert the whole file, but place a giant watermark over the video making it unwatchable. Are there any free ones out there that'll do the job?

The Blockbuster sidestore is called Gamerush, and there are far fewer Blockbuster stores that have them then there are Hollywood Video stores without a Gamecrazy. I think the Gamerush thing is currently mostly in the mid-west, and hasn't really expanded that far yet.

Personally, while I do agree that it has been well booked, which is a refreshing change for WWE, when it all comes down to it, it's still a stupid storyline with 2 women who can't act their way out of a paper bag. Good booking does not a good storyline make.

I ahve a friend whp always orders the big PPVs every year and invites everyone over, so I'll see it as his house.

I can guarantee you that it peaked at like a 4 or 5 for the first match and then dropped off totally after that, maybe gaining a few more viewers for the main event.

This show tonight was baaaaaaaad, even by WWEs standards. Just way way way way WAY too much talking and other sports entertainment nonsense. What the fuck was the point of the JBL segment? Was it Jim Cornette who always used to say that if an angle isn't going to build up to a match, then it's generally a waste of time and won't make you any money? That was this segment to the tee. Just get in the ring, and fucking wrestle, is that so much to ask? I can understand the commercial breaks every 5 minutes, because that's just the nature of the beast, but there's no excuse at all for only 20 minutes of wrestling on a 2 hour wrestling show.

For the record, when I searched for SNME on TiVo to record it, it lists a broadcast on both the regular NBC Station, and the HD Station which can't pick up, so it is at least showign on there.

I caught this one this afternoon, it was pretty good. The first maybe 45 minutes or so are pretty fast paced, but then it slows down a lot. The ending had be a bit puzzled due to my lack of familiarity witht he comics, but I'm sure someone will explain it eventually. Overall it was a great film, it would be worth your money to see.

They've listed the specific episodes they're airing on the GSN boards.

I could see them doing like a TV Movie or something with the original cast showing what their characters are doing today, and attending a class reunion or something, but not a feature film.

They have aried the larson epsiodes in full before, but they won't be a part of the marathon. THe marathon will mostly be later peisodes from the 1985 season.
