I think Pat is a very well-spokem, smart, fighter. But he was so boring in the ring that I don't really care what he thinks or how he grew up. Watching UFC 31 and Newton beating him felt sooo good.

People may come back with "Well Hogan was on top for 8/9 years", but that wasn't in the age of Monday Night television (and Thursday Night television) and monthly PPV's. HHH got waaaaaaaaaaaay more airtime in his 6 years than Hogan did in his 9. Actually, in 1 year HHH probably got more TV time than Hogan from WM 1 - KOTR 93. It's absolutely ridiculous to think that one guy should get that much time on top, with the same character, doing the same things... for 6 years. And there is no end in sight.

And Austin was over the shows for 2 years tops, HHH has been over the shows for about 6 years.

The previews that were on last night had me FREAKING OUT. All the stuff with Locke.... I was like "Oh my god... they're killing him off"....

Kurt's serious promos are awful. First, his voice doesn't lend itself well to them. Second, his head movement is very distracting, where he can't go a word without moving it from side-to-side. Third, he repeats words like crazy, Brock, I mean seriously Brock, do you really think you can beat me, Brock? Fourth, his pacing is really bad. He talks like this, and then, hetalkslikethisohitstrue! Not good at all.

The WWE *was* the company that put a wig on Goldberg.

Angles money promos suck.

You'd have to buy hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stock in order to get anything substantial back. The USD recovery in foreign money markets would give you a higher % back in much quicker time than WWE stock. Not to mention that if Vince McMahon kicks the bucket, and you have stock in his company, you're fucked.

I only caught about 10 seconds of Benoit/Tajiri. In that 10 seconds they managed to show how completely inept they are about the ECW PPV.

Completely different situations. My statement isn't "Going away for 6 months and coming back won't do anything for a wrestler", my statement is "Going away for 6 months and coming back as a heel won't do anything for HHH". Rock wasn't a consistant heel for 6 years and didn't keep repeating himself and his actions for half of those years.

You forget that HHH was a face for a while in DX, and he didn't nearly get enough time to develop as a face after his return in 2001/02. HHH on Smackdown would be exactly like HHH on RAW, just on Smackdown. We need a change of pace, the guy has been a heel ('cept for about 4 months) for 6 years, in an age of weekly television and monthly PPV's. He's stale as a heel, and 6 months away from the camera won't change that.

Heyman is one of Meltzers sources, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him at the show.
