In the WWE, about 500 punches are thrown a night. That's about 100,000 a year. None of them are good. So when we get a punch that is actually good, it should be celebrated for years. It will probably be a decade until we see a punch that good on WWE television.

So basically, the Edge/Dreamer match w. Foley follow up was it...

The best thing about Foleys promo was him saying "you've seen all this from me, but you haven't seen nothin yet" in regards to the "sell". It's a shame they couldn't have done this from the beginning where they could have done big promos from Funk, Dreamer, Edge, and Foley, rather than waiting until the 11th hour to, you know, not totally suck. Not the best promo ever, by any means, because I thought it was really scattered, but it certainly helped this feud and if they officially nnounce Tanaka vs. Ballz, I may actually not regret thinking about seeing this at a theatre.

And the King just threw THE PUNCH OF THE YEAR in the WWE.

Yay Foley for getting rid of that very poor excuse for motivation, though I'm not sure exactly what it is now. Ok, it's wanting to get revenge on.. ecw? Ok, better, but, you know, not good. I love how Foley wanted this to work so bad he told Funk to punch his face so hard to cause a mouse under his eye. Maybe I will forgive Foley for the lameness of this feud afterall. That promo was AAAAAAAAAAAAALL over the place, though.

Don't forget about the ECW entrance making this show different from Raw. That match was like the stiffest thing I've ever seen from the WWE... and the wrestling was pretty hard, too.

Did King just say he's going to make Tazz give him a handjob? AWESOME.

The WWE's idea of what ECW is/was seems to be: Yell ECW a lot in a group And that's about it.,

With Angle and Big Show in ECW, it seems like ECW is going to be "the place where guys who were milked dry in the WWE go". And could we have a page that documents the similarities between ECW Redux and the Invasion?

Wow, this is bad promo. Like, c'mon, less is more. Badasses don't go on and on and on. And on. And on. If you want to tell someone you are going to kick their ass, don't explain the ins and outs of it.

That match looked like it was wrestled in slow motion.

But Hogan was pretty consistent with his reasons - Bret should have dropped the belt because Bret wasn't a draw, he didn't want to drop the belt to Bret because Bret wasn't a draw. Hogan is all about the money. Sure he's a liar, but I can't think of another wrestler -if I were to be a wrestler- I'd rather learn from. Can you imagine a Hulk Hogan seminar? Day 1, Hour 1: Headlocks, wristlocks, bodyslams, and legdrops. Day 1, Hour 2: How to get the most money possible.
