Katharine and Elliot are in their element as well, esp. Katharine. Kellie and Ace are going to be left out in the cold because tonight is all about pure singing ability and they lack it. It's one of those feast or famine kinda things, where the good shines and the bad are clearly exposed. And I think Kellie and Ace are better singers than most give them credit for, but they are not on the level of the others and get by more on looks and charm than anything else.

Taylor has a TWINKLE IN HIS EYE. I am going to have to start talking like Simon. Then it was... *snaps*... Magic.

She'd make a really good christmas album that I'd enjoy playing in the background and not actually listen to. That's probably the closest I'd get to an album of hers. I agree with Randy, by far her best performance and this is certainly the style which suits her best and she could make lots of money in that niche and performing live. Not necessarily 7x's platnum, but good money.

Taylor already did The First Cut is the Deepest, and it was one of his best IMO. I see no reason for Taylor not to be the best tonight. No no no no. You've got it all wrong. LOTC probably didn't read the whole thread and thus didn't get the context of the Bret Hart interview. There is no rift between LOTC and I. No Mega-Power-like break up. No explosion. Everything is fine.

The idea that Bret blamed Hogan for a bunch of things that happened in his career. I've listened to many-a-Hart interview (more than just about everyone here) and Hart didn't blame Hogan for what happened in WCW, and in regards to their Summerslam 93 match, Bret said they had shot photos for it and it ended up not happening for some reason. He didn't implicitly say or blame Hogan for that. The interview I posted showed how little ill-will Bret had for Hogan at least up until 2002. I disagree with Meltzers opinion at times, but he is -by far- the most credible reporter on wrestling and attempts to discredit him in this thread don't hold much water. Meltzer is merely relaying what Bret has said about Hogan in the past and I can verify that to be true because I have heard that from Bret in the past as well. There's little reason to doubt that Hart's opinion on Hogan changed after seeing Hogan bury him in the SCREWED interview.

I'm kinda amazed at that low number, a .7 drop-off after what I thought was an excellent episode is very surprising and disheartening. I contend if they announce the matches before hand ("next week Noah takes on Jesse") would be better than what they are doing now ("next week two fighters fight"). That within the first 10 minutes they decide who is fighting who, I don't really see the point in not advertising it before hand.

Ack! How could I forget about Georges St. Pierre? Fuck it, this is TSM Top Twelve. 11. Georges St. Pierre 12. Carlos Newton GSP has slick submissions, vicious ground and pound, knock out power in stand up as well as a diverse moveset - what more can you ask for? Newton has had great matches against Sakuraba, Henderson, Pele, and Hughes. Sure, he lost 4 of those 5 fights, but damn were they exciting.
