I realized after I broke a PS2 controller and had to replace it, that it's stupid to break a piece of electronic equipment because I have no gaming skills.

Tonight may be the most important start of the year for Schilling. They're only up by ½ game on the Yanks right now and have lost 7 of 12. They need to win the division, since if the White Sox fall to the Tribe and Cleveland takes the division the White Sox win the wildcard and the Red Sox are fucked. I don't want to overstate it, but this game is a MUST win. Period.

Probably not going to effect me much, but hey. I get a paid day off of work.

I've never gotten into football the same way that I got into baseball and hockey. I don't like how much media coverage it gets (ESPN radio has all of sunday afternoon spent with some pinhead in the studio giving minute by minute updates of every game being played. I just find the whole thing to be overkill.

I'd say CoF sells more shirts since they're more well known. I can only think of one song by ATDI ("One-Armed Scissor") and it's pretty bad. Not that I really enjoy CoF either. The girlfriend likes them, but I usually ignore it.

Oh I think Bonds has been on roids for years, especially during his 73 hr year, since his previous high for any season was 49. I just have a hard time believing that he could hit an extra 24 homeruns without any kind of help.

What has ruined his legacy is that he's guilty in the eyes of the public of steroid use and many feel that his numbers are tainted. Say what you will about Hank Aaron, he weighed 185 in his playing days and still hit 755 homers. Babe Ruth may have been an asshole to people, but he was a fat ass (and steroids likely didn't exist in those years). Ruth and Aaron's records are considered clean. Bonds's isn't. Personally, I don't like Bonds, but his impact on the game can't help but be felt.

All I see online is credit going to Ozzie for their turn around, and people bowing down for Scott Podsednik being the MVP and whatnot. And I'm not talking about on here, I'm talking elsewhere.

Or we hate seeing all of the White Sox success attributed to Ozzie Guillen and the offense only, when it's been the pitching that has gotten them their record. Now that the pitching has been average instead of being above-average like it had been all year, they've fallen down to earth. And instead of doing what a manager should do and rally behind his players, Guillen is throwing them under the bus to make it seem like it's not his fault. It's really not, but it's disheartening to see a manager ripping his players like Guillen does.
