Ann seems to want us to think that no Republican president ever used troops against other Americans, and no Democrat ever wanted to use military force against a foreign power. Maybe I'm reading too much into her statement, but that seems to be what she trying to convince us of. You lost me at "Ann Coulter wants us to think........." As if anyone comes away from one of her rants, ready to think.

Ok, fair enough, however that is hearsay that was credible enough to convince, what 20 court cases or so? That makes it easily more credible then random nurses who saw a picture or a ten second video clip of a balloon and want to claim Terry six months from being eligible for the next Special Olympics.

I always hated how Lance Storm was characterized as having no charisma, and sucking on the mic, but then you watch a Raw/Smackdown broadcast and the same thing holds true for 75% of the on-air talent, however Storm can actually work.

If you ask me, the media is fucking up coverage by reporting heresay as if it was fact. They keep showing that stupid balloon tape, the 10 second version, when in fact the entire tape covers over two hours of NOTHING. Or the fact that the doctors who say Terry can recover haven't examined her, they are just going by pictures and some video tape footage. Then they show the small number of protestors, and then say "and Lots of people around the country agree with these people" failing to mention that every single poll shown, reveals the OPPOSITE, and not by a small margin. There isn't ANY group yet to be polled where even 50% believe the feeding tube should be put back in. All that really should be reported is the fact, it is the husband's decision here, unless the court finds he is making his decisions in malice or for some other extroidanary reason, then he, the spouse is where the decision lies, not to mention others testifying in the past as to Terry's wishes not to go on like this.

What city do you live in, because NPR programming varies city-to-city. Out here it is the same format everyday, pick the topic, bring one guest from each side onto the show, give them equal time, and the host doesn't even comment or give his opinion whatsoever, and then some Jazz in the afternoon.

I think the actual argument is that shes alive on her own accord...she's just incapable of feeding herself. Now I personally don't think that means you are keeping someone alive "artificially". So that argument in itself is a strawman. Malkin's claim that she can "learn" to do this or that is perposterouse as her cerbral cortex is LIQUID, and you know, that doesn't grow back through rehabilitation. She isn't going to LEARN anything, ever.

Michelle Malkin is the next Ann Coulter waiting in the wings. Arguing that the roundup of Japanese civilians during WWII was a good thing, is about as outrageous as anything Coulter has uttered. Oh and she failed to report that this is the husband's decision anyway, not the courts, or her parents.

I do not KNOW. Nor do you. So killing her makes no sense. Well her husband knew, and that is what matters, not what I know, or you know, or even what her parents THINK they know for that matter. The courts have heard the case over and over and over, and they have failed to find any reason Michael Schiavo has to be lying about this. The bottomline is that this is Michael Schiavo's decision whether you, me, her parents like it or not, it is his decision, and the courts have ruled in his favor multiple times. And as far as what caused her heart attack, aren't there reports of her being bullemic? Yes of course it is being denied by the family now, but they are also trying to latch onto ANYTHING that will make a court rule in a different way then they have the last fourteen times. Also, haven't other people testified in the past to have heard Terry talk about this and not wanting to be kept alive in this condition?

Well to discount the interview because of the url, then there is no reason not to write off his "10 myths" rebuttal, looking at where that came from.

If they want to give Mercy to Terry, why not call in Kevorkian, and just end it immediately, then there will be no cry of "starving to death"

NoCal, Before you believe what anyone says about anything, take the time to educate yourself. Presenting an argument, even someone else's, without having taken the time to gain information to use is fruitless. Posting this article and then explaining, through information you've learned, why you think he's got something worth saying, would make a much better argument for other people who remain unconvinced or on the fence. I never even said I WAS CONVINCED. I am just posting a first hand account to provoke discussion. It's no different then everyone on here commenting about Terry Schiavo's case when none of us are doctors and/or experts in diagnosing medical conditions. I have said before I don't think trade is an "evil thing" perse, but I am sure there is some nasty things that occur along the way.

This working relationship is good for ROH, as it gives them many more folks to work with. I am not even sure what WWE looks to gain from this, as they rarely push or elevate any leased talent anyway.

Ok, but again, I don't see this guy's motivation to lie, this isn't some lifelong hippy liberal, that has been marching on the streets "fighting the good fight" who finally has gotten his fifteen minutes to rant and rave. You also can't say this is just to attempt to cash in on a book, because he was offered a lot more money to fictionalize his book so it could have been published sooner. Assuming that you believe the guy actually worked for the organizations he did work for, what do you believe his motivation to lie would be?

...and why is that? Do you believe the guy is a phony or a fake? Do you think he is just randomly making up things? I posted a few things to do, to read, to fact check. So far, no rebuttal I did read them, and I personally have no rebuttal, because for one I am not an expert in these matters, however reading the interview, I can hardly see how this guy comes off as a hack, he talks great lengths about being born and raised to be loyal to America, and american interests, and he said he was taught to look up to all the people he in fact worked for, yet over time, he witnessed and took part in things that to him felt like a conflict of interest and did not feel right to him. Keep in mind this is first hand accounts, not just some website listing what they call "myths" so I don't mean to be picky, but in order to balance first hand accounts, you need to find another first hand account that can counter what this guy says is going, not merely a website that lists "myths of such and such" especially considering what the website is, and considering the speech was made in front of WTO members, so I doubt they are going to tell the whole story, or be willing to elaborate on ANY damage that might be caused while trying to achieve their goals. I am sure I can go google, "10 dangers of such and such" just as well. So unless you are prepared to make the claims that MikeSC is, and just come to the conclusion that this guy is "fake" and all his claims are "false" then I am afraid you need to come up with some first hand accounts to counter this gentleman's first hand accounts.
