The latest twist in the Schiavo case.......
NoCalMike replied to NoCalMike's topic in Current Events
That is just god damn disgusting. You know what? Let the stupid right for life people take her if they want her so bad. Maybe they'll dress her up and parade her out on TBN. The thing is, if one of them actually made it to Terry and poured water down her throat, she would die instantly. And you know this...how? -=Mike She can't swallow......... -

It has been awhile since I have tuned in to Michael Savage's radio show, but I figured, why not hear this guy's opinion on the Schiavo case. Wow, he is flying off the handle. He basically is calling for the end of Jeb and George Bush for not breaking the law and intervening. I love when he goes into his psychotic rants and just starts blathering incoherently. -
I guess this movie is already made or something, but awaiting release, or they are looking to edit or something.

I don't understand how throwing missions works though since in the Inferno II the OTHER TEAM picks who to go into the inferno. Unless if that person wins the lifeshield, they personally get to pick someone to go in their place!?!

Anytime you come out on the same side as Rick Sanitorum(sp?) you better rethink your position.

Yeah because "Yuppie Scum" aren't a big portion of the SUV buyers? You are kidding right? I would be willing to be a lot more yuppies have a shiny Navigator, or Explorer sitting in their drive-way, then a hybrid. And just how many of those people bought them because of "performance" rather then, "well everyone else in the neighborhood has one, we better get with it, and get one for ourselves" I can't believe someone has the nerve to suggest at least 50% of the SUV market is not driven by as you so elequently put it "yuppie scum" Someone posted an article in this forum well over a year ago, about the marketing change in the SUV as a vehicle and how that classification used to be exlusively for tractors and heavy vehicles used in construction, so it would make sense to be lax on the regulations as far as emissions and safety go. However when the "SUV" changed from a tractor, to a Dodge Durango, strangely the lax regulations never changed, thus the car companies could skimp on emissions regulations. Also how it targeted women and families, as if no one has EVER had kids before and not had an SUV to get around town in. Their so-called "safety features" are basically a load of shit, but people automatically buy into, "if I am driving the biggest thing on the road, that means I am safe" Just the other day, driving on the freeway I witnessed Mini-Van vs. Yukon, and the Yukon ended up on it's side with a smashed windshield, while the Mini-van had some minor front end damage. As far as looks, explain how the following cars don't look nearly identical to what is seen daily on the road everyday? http://eartheasy.com/live_hybrid_cars.htm

So if every aspect of recycling was stopped, would MikeSC be happy to open a few hundred new landfills in his backyard?

Such as? A reduction in trees? How about species extinction? Costs of municipal trash? Overpopulation? Environmentalism is a cult and nothing more. It's the Branch Davidians with slightly fewer guns. -=Mike I don't quite get how recycling or properly disposing of motor oil, or driving a fuel efficient car makes you part of a cult. I guess the question is "What is an enviornmentalist" ? I mean, I am somewhat concerned about certain aspects of the way americans consume needlesly, and are willing to throw out so much at the drop of the hat, and am kind of worried what would happen if this attitude/philosophy spread to other countries that currently don't consume like we do. In other words, does the world have enough natural resources to support mankind if say, it ever got to the point that 50% of the world consumed at the rate America, CURRENTLY does? Now this is certainly an enviornment-related issue, that has nothing to do with global warming.

How close do you live to the colluseium? I live in Sacramento, and usually get off at the Fruitridge BART station, which is one stop from the stadium. $2.50 roundtrip is better then $13 parking, also they built a brand new plaza there with some good eaterys.

I will be there for the seasons first, $2 upperdeck, $1 hot dog, wednesday night games.....LOL. Although I am not sure if I am going to get upperdeck seats and might instead get better seats, of course that then defeats the purpose of going on a Wednesday rather then a Friday or weekend....I need to work this out with my friends.

The aftermath of WM will be interesting, mostly to see what Batista can do with the circumstances of not playing off HHH's "I am God" promos. Of course, it would be silly to think their feud will be over after WM, however if Batista does survive this feud, remaining the champ, will he be exposed as a bland bag of muscles sooner then later?

Uhmm, I actually remember a lukewarm crowd initially. The popped HUGE during the beatdown, but before that the crowd seemed to lack fire.

The latest twist in the Schiavo case.......

I know this is sort of off topic, but I find it ironic that this small number of protestors have received more coverage then all the nationwide protesting done on the two year anniversary of Shock & Awe. -
Another enviornmental thread ressurected by a "global warming is fake" claim. Considering the debate and/or discussion about Global warming ended awhile ago, feel free to stop posting articles about it. Global Warming and it's existence, is only on fraction of enviornmental issues.

Some Idiot on Fox was being interviewd saying Terry was trying to say "I want to live" to them....jeez, as people get more desperate, the bullshit meter continues to rise off the meter. -
I don't like the scenario though of "Hassan jobs, then challenges Hogan" I mean, if Hassan is going to get a match with someone of "Hogan's Calibur" at WM, shouldn't it come after a big win that somehow at least lets him prove his point that he should get a spot on the card?

It wasn't too long ago, 10 years maybe that Boxing was featured all the time on Wide World of Sports on ABC I believe, and a lot more people would watch boxing. There are too many PPVs nowadays due to there being so many belts. Get rid of 75% of the belts, unify them and melt them into one or something. Also, less coverage of shitbag promoters, and we simply need more access. I mean there are so many fighters that get to records like 35-2, before we even know who they are, and by then it is up against the clock to promote them properly for the big fight. ESPN Friday Night Boxing is good, as is HBO Boxing after dark, but they need help from other networks to promote the great fighters before they are great. I remember when David Tua was coming up through the ranks, and he seemed to have a fight on a different network every few months or so, and he turned out to be an overrated reckless puncher, but still THAT was the way to promote young and upcoming fighters.

The perfect ending would be for Orton to have eliminated all the divas, and then handed his very own walking papers, and his Dad's HOF induction revoked, and voided.

Well forgive the people of California for now beckoning the calls of a bunch of highschool kids. Wow, you surely put him in his place. Why is it stupid?
