  1. Yes, Smoot has deservedly been given a 78. deservedly? Umm no.....he isn't a 90+ rating CB yet, but definately in the 80's.
  2. Thus far whenever the media covered this story, they totally ignored Carlos Delgado's own words regarding the bomb testing in his country and how it is basically left in ruins and wasteland, and they try to turn it into a "Does Carlos Delgado hate america/the troops" debate.....it is rather sickening.
  3. Is superjoint ritual on the mainstage? If so, that could easily explain why the masses were "unimpressed" Not that Superjoint Ritual is the greast band around or anything.
  4. First real concert I went to was AC/DC Robby Krieger's jazz band - played a mix of new jazz tunes and Doors classics. His son did the vocals and did a pretty good job if I may say so. It was in a small club, and the place was rockin' The cool thing was you saw so many different types of people there, and everyone came together to hear some good music. Pantera/Anthrax/Coal Chamber - this concert kind of exposed me to heavier music culture as Pantera is a transition band, IMO. Slayer/Pantera/Morbid Angel - First time I ever saw Slayer Dying Fetus/Skinless - Grindcore Pits are brutal.... Cannibal Corpse/Dark Funeral - One of the best Death Metal bands, and one of my personal favorite Black Metal bands Kittie/Killswitch Engage(btw they are coming to my town in August a week before my gf's birthday, AGAIN, hahaha) - because it was gift to my girlfriend and she had a blast, and well hey they put on a good show, we got to hang with them backstage, and I met Tom Araya's brother who does some production work for Kittie
  5. Is it true that Fred Smoot only has a 78 rating? If so that is bullshit......well I will check for myself tonight after class
  6. Someone needs to create the official ESPN 2K5 league thread....

    Trade Talk

I think with Byrnes, Macha has to make a decision, either he is going to be an everyday player starting now and forever (until he is no longer with the A's) or he is going to be a PERMANENT utility man. He interviews at least once a week here on a local Sacramento affiliate, and you can totally see how his confidence is shot, after he is benched after an 0-4 day, and then ot let back in the lineup for a week. I understand how the matchups work with the leftys vs righties, however Kielty sucks from the left side so it is kind of mind boggling to see Byrnes get benched so Kielty can get a "favorable"( ) matchup.
  8. My girlfriend has picked up a copy for me, however I am at work right now, and then I have class after until approx 9 - 9:30 depending on how fast I can get the work done.....If all the PS2 users are planning on starting a league, PLEASE save a spot for me. I probably won't be able to get on and actually play until 11:00pm pacific time tonight, which may be too late to play any of you guys, but I just don't want to miss out on joining the PS2 smartmarks league......
  9. well circle changed them in madden too, just the opposite direction
  10. This was probably the best movie I have seen this year besides City of God, but since City of God was technically 2003, ESOTSM is my nod for best movie of 2004, so far.....
  11. I just signed up. For the Auction, I have work in school Mon-Thursdays. So Friday night 6:30pm pacific(or later) or anytime on the weekends, will work for me.
  12. ...but but but.....Ann Coulter said it was true....
  13. if it doesn't do squat, then what is the point of coming up with in the first place? Or are you just claiming it doesn't do squat to "non-terrorists" which of course would be bullshit....but anyways, for the record could you ellaborate on "doesn't do squat" It treats terrorists as mob bosses. Nothing more. -=Mike Well that is unmitigated bullshit! </mikesc> All you have to do is actually demonstrate in what way the act impacts you. -=Mike No I don't actually. Just because it hasn't effected me perse doesn't mean it isn't being abused. Just the fact that I can be labled a terrorist or have a file opened up on me based on a website I visit or a book I check out from the library is enough for a bit of alarm. That is about the tamest thing I can come up with, however it gets much worse. The likelihood this would actually happen to ME, slim to none of course, but I had to stretch since you wanted to know how it effected me personally.
  14. Man, if Rice did this, she'd be lynched by now. -=Mike ..."It doesn't matter. It happened MONTHS ago." "Well, so did Abu Gharib" "But..." WTF are you talking about? The worst Rice has been accused of is lying, which by all accounts is a politicians job in a way. I hardly call Katie Couric or Chris Matthews lobbing her a softball question being one step from getting lynched. If she had done it, the same thing that is happening to Berger would happen to Rice, one side would be up in arms, while the other side would basically claim it is all ado about nothing, same shirt, different day. If Rice "accidentally" stuffed confidential documents in her pants and socks --- I doubt the left would be all that forgiving. -=Mike I never said the Left would be forgiving. Re-read my post, or maybe I should if I f'd up my wording, but what I said was that if it had been Rice accused, then it be basically the left up in arms, and the right claiming much ado about nothing....repeat: same shit different day. We have dirty politicians in office, they stink to high heaven, but these are the people that are getting voted in and appointed by their buddies; same shit, different day. This whole supposed "coverup" is most likely a bigger issue then just Bush & Clinton and Burger etc.....but everytime someone is accused or acting suspicious, it is the same debate EVERYTIME, one side is up in arms, and one side wants to sweep it under the rug. Until people are willing to start the process of rooting all of them out, then this is what we will continue to get.

  18. He did have a match in front of his fans, of course this meaning the live crowd. He had a match on Velocity. So the ECW/Philly fans still got to see him wrestle. yeah, but I meant a live match which would air on tv, and convey that RVD is super over to tv viewers that are waning on him at the moment. You know how sheepish WWE crowd tend to be, once a crowd sets a new trend whether it be a new chant, or breaking kayfabe as far as crowd heat goes......every other arena usually follows suit.
  19. Maybe WWE kept RVD off of Smackdown for there mere fact that RVD live in front of a Philadelphia crowd would probably outpop anyone else on the Smackdown roster and Vince doesn't want that to be reflected to the viewers. Regardless, not giving RVD a smackdown match in front of "his" fans is a dick move.
  20. Actually one problem I had with F 9/11 is that it was really skimpy on how awful the Patriot Act is. The Patriot Act could warrant it's own movie, on how much of a broad stroke it can paint someone as a "terrorsist" or how it is being abused a lot for matters in no way shape or form are related to terrorism. I wish Moore would have just left the whole Patriot Act part out since he really didn't even go into any kind of depth about it.
  21. I don't expect the exactly read the documents on the evening news, but they CAN be general about it. For example, if these documents discuss the Clinton administration's actions towards terrorism, they can tell us in very general terms about that without totally declassifying the information found within. Well the only problem with this is, if the documents are given some title by the media for what the documents are generally about such as, "Clinton on Terrorism" then everyone will obviously take the lowest common denominator and/or devils advocate position and say, "see Berger was covering up Clinton's crap job on terrorism AHHHHHHHHHHHH" and they will just go with that nonstop, even though they have no idea of what is in the documents.
  22. Regarding this, Hannity had his rage-o-meter running off the charts last night, as he had Ann Coulter on as a guest, which you could imagine, lead to Colmes basically becoming a virtual statue for 60mins........all is good in tv land.
  23. Well so far we have conflicting reports, but one thing is for sure, even a so-called, "liberal media" wouldn't keep concrete evidence of nuclear weapons being found under wraps. The story would just be too damn big if it was proven to be true. Which means I fully expect Fox to jump on this regardless
