I use the computer mostly for internet, downloading, music, and Microsoft office. Right now I have a Dell Dimension 9100 series.

It's easier to believe that he might be honest about it than Hillary Clinton. With Hillary Clinton, there's no chance it would end. Let's face facts: we might get a political climate that is actually worse than what we have right now. I'll hedge a bet with Obama rather than know I have no chance with Clinton. And Gogo: I understand that politicians manipulate things as such, but there's a line. I didn't find Al Gore to be outright manipulative. I find her to be. Perhaps it's the fact that she seems so blatant at it that irritates me. Along with her campaign tricks... yeah. She rubs me as a person who typifies an era of politics I want to forget. Right. From my perspective the minute Hillary walks into the whitehouse, conservatives are going to immediately go into attack mode and try to give her as much hell as the left gave Bush, just like the opposite happened with Bill Clinton etc etc.....Obama winning the Presidency isn't going to have conservatives suddenly jumping for joy and bi-partisanship, but I don't think it will bring out the same vitriolic hate that a Hillary presidency would.

I'm baaaaaaaack. <crickets> So just here waiting for my last two hours of work to end. In case you didn't know, since my last blog, I got a PS3, a Wii and most importantly, MARRIED. Life is good....mostly. The wedding was fantastic. For the first time in my life I really feel I got more then what I paid for. It was a nice ceremony outside in the garden, and the reception was a hell of a party. We were partying so hard that the wedding coordinator(who owns the place we got married at) paid out of her own pocket to keep the party going for an extra hour. A keg of blue moon, margarita machines, and tequilla & rum shots were flowing heavy that night, but fortunately everyone got home safe. The planning was pretty stressless until about a month and a half till the wedding. We didn't even buy our wedding bands until a week and a half before the ceremony...lol. Anyways, that was just a quick update to get myself back into the bloggin' groove. In about two hours I will be stopping by Gamestop to pick up Devil May Cry 4....BOOYAH!!!

I just have a hard time with the concept that Hillary Clinton is the candidate of "change." Sure, she is going to be a change from Bush, but so is every other candidate running. If you are going by rhetoric and voting records alone, Obama represents more change in the supposed "democratic mindset" then Hillary.

From what I have heard the game has two levels of difficulty when you start out, and then more difficulty levels are opened up when you beat the game. I have Uncharted to trade in, waiting in the car and as long as Gamestop has them in by the time I get off work, I am getting the game this evening after work.

Yeah, despite reports of declining ratings, I actually think the show is getting better as it goes along. This week's episode built a lot of tention, and I think the transition between John Conner the kid on the run with his mom, and John Connor the leader of the resistence is starting to show. Skynet are some crafty muthafuckas.

Yeah I just called the gamestop here and they said tomorrow. It seems over the past few years it is changing from Tuesday to Wednesday that everything hits stores. Maybe since they don't control when the shipments come in, it was too hard to guarantee everything by Tuesday....but I swear, when I was younger, everything was sitting on the shelf by tuesday morning. I would check around other places, but since I am trading in a game I want to use Gamestop.

So, are the 1972 Miami Dolphins really the greatest team ever?
NoCalMike replied to JimmyHendricks's topic in Sports
I'd say that at least two of the Hogs are HOFers eventually.....Russ Grimm should be going in soon, and maybe Jacoby or Lachey, hell even Mark May. Brian Michell also. -
The reviews seem pretty positive. I think I am going to pick this up after work either today or in the next few days... Here is the IGN review http://ps3.ign.com/objects/748/748464.html

I'd venture to say that people that are new to voting, might not have been accounted for and won't be accounted for until exit polling/the end of the election. Also, I would tend to think that Obama is bringing out more first time voters than Clinton. If there is a big percentage of first time voters, that could be a reasonable explanation for a bigger margin of victory for Obama then recently expected.

I have a Dell, I have no complaints but looking back on it, I did pay a hefty price for it a couple of years ago, but I think I made a few upgrades to it at the time like adding the surround sound system and upgrading the monitor. However, yeah building your own is always the way to go if you have the knowledge to do so. Question: Do places like Frys and/or Best buy offer assistance with buying parts to build your own PC. For instance if someone goes in and tells a rep that they want to build a PC from scratch, will they assist you and makesure you get everything you need and you don't get home with all sorts missing parts? I have a pretty penny coming between my tax return and the economic stimulus package and I am considering possibly getting a new PC built myself this time.

#1 Offfense #2 Defense 11 of the teams they played had 10+ wins, they are 2nd only to the '85 Bears in margin of victory. I believe it wasn't until the fourth home game that an opponent even scored a TD against them (at home). Playoffs: Redskins 24 Falcons 7, and Redskins 41 Detroit 10, Superbowl Redskins 37 Bills 24. Of course I am biased because I am a Redskins fan, but I do think this team is often overlooked because they came right in the middle of two dynasties, the 49ers 80's Dynasty and the Cowboys 90's dynasty. People often look at only dynasties to find the best teams, but that 91' Redskins team dominated the league that year. They might not be the best team of all time, but they deserve to be ranked up there pretty damn high. -
When Raven returned to ECW and he does a run-in as Dreamer's tag partner and they win the tag titles.....it would have been a great angle to play out on a PPV....leaving the fans with a "WTF" look on their face while also marking out that Raven had returned.

I think Guiness is one of those brands where way more people buy the shirts/beanies/hats with the logo, then actually drink the beer. I think the bigger problem is that your beer novice people think Guiness is a one of a kind beer and don't realize that tons of breweries make the same type of dark, thick beer that is even better. Don't get me wrong, I love-me some Guiness, but I would consider it an intro for it's category of beer.

Blue Moon & Orange wedges = Happiness. Blue Moon also makes another version with a yellow label that is brewed with the orange peel thus eliminating the need to put an orange wedge into the beer.

I like Heyman's idea because if you think about it, if it comes down to Show & RVD in the end, everyone assumes RVD is taking the strap, however if Big Show goes down early, it adds a real level of suprise to the end of the elimination chamber. It also as mentioned before, puts over Punk without having to put the belt on him.....

New episode tonight if anyone cares besides me....

How much are you getting back in taxes this year

Approx $3000. -
It's MMA though, not pro-wrestling it doesn't matter who dominates a fight, guys who use submissions often come out looking battered, bruised, and bloody by the end of the fight, but the fact is they use different weapons to win fights. Look, I am not trying to take anything away from Brock, for his 2nd MMA/first UFC fight, he looked impressive, but "dominating most of the fight" doesn't get it done in MMA. It isn't just about brute strength and punching power. There are so many other elements to the fighting game. I get the feeling that if it wasn't Brock that lost the same fight, and just some other unknown muscular guy, he wouldn't be getting as much love. "Feed Brock Mirko" I mean, really? Mirko is in a downturn in his career, but the guy is still a world class striker. It isn't beyond the realm of possibility that Brock could take him, but lets not get ahead of ourselves m'kay?

I'd say at this point it is really hard to tell. When you look at the Giants over the course of the season, they got better as the season went along, but they never seemed to dominate the competition. They have some vets that could be close to retirement, Strahan, Madison, Toomer, but then also plenty of youth as well. Really, over the last five seasons, the Patriots have been the only "sure thing" if you can call them that, every other team seems to remain a mystery until the end of the season, especially the NFC where you can basically toss out W/L records. This Giants team gives me a Steelers "got hot at the right time" vibe and not a dynasty vibe, but then again it is a lot harder to build a dynasty these days.
-
This will probably be considered a bigger upset then it deserves to be, because for all the domination the Pats displayed during the regular season, they weren't displaying the same dominance during the post-season(or during any other of their post-seasons either). That is the main reason why I would have had a hard time calling the Pats the "best team ever" even had they gone 19-0.
-
I didn't pay close enough attention when it was live, and every time I see a replay on the news they seem to cut the clip short.....did Tyree really come down with the ball, or did the Giants catch a break there? Was at least suprising that Belichek didn't challenge it?
-
That Seau pic is hi-larious......especially for a guy like that.

Anyone else think that by Week 10 next season people are going to be puzzled as to how the Giants won the Superbowl this season? I don't see this team as a dynasty in the making. They kind of have the feel of the Steelers team that got hot at the right time......
