The entire back because he was making out with his "fine ass girl". Edit: I'm shocked how much time they are giving this match. did Hunter get heat like this when He was dating Stephanie..or shawn when him and Sunny were messing around..Or Carlito and Torrie... Well when Edge fucked Lita.......they fired Matt Hardy....go figure!?! Of course Vince did use the affair to make Edge/Lita an on-air couple......

Little Miss Sunshine kind of reminds me of Sideways, in that they were pretty much marketed as straight comedies, but there are some rather dramatic undertones to them and I think classifying them as just straight comedies, doesn't quite do them justice.

When the vast majority (read: almost all R & B, girl group, boy band singers) of artists out there don't write or compose their own original songs and still can push millions of units why would you expect an AI contestant to do so? There's a reason almost everything sounds the same these days and it's because the same writers and producers create all of the hits in those genres. Ok, so what's the appeal of the show, exactly? I am assuming you aren't out there buying Ruben/Kelly/Taylor/Carrie/Clay/Hung CDs. So what is the appeal of the show really? Entertainment, I suppose. All I am doing really is explaining why I sometimes tune into the show during the first few weeks and then avoid it the rest of the way out.

It's probably a one-night thing. A lot of things happen on Indy shows that are one-time things because the paycheck was right, and scheduling was right. Indy shows are GREAT for random happenings that wouldn't be possibly on a bigger stage.

The Paul Heyman Smackdown shoot on McMahon
NoCalMike replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Wrestling
Oh and as far as "ECW being on WWE's payroll" You need to get the Forever Hardcore documentary which is basically "The Rise and Fall of ECW" except not produced by WWE/Vince and has interviews with most everyone that was missing from The Rise/Fall DVD.....because they get into a lot more detail about the entire "ECW on WWE Payroll" issue, and it wasn't some huge thing like people made it out to be. It wasn't like Vince or anyone else was calling the shots in ECW on what they could or couldn't do. Only thing WWE had control of was if they were lending wrestlers, then they had the right to take them back when they wanted. -
The Paul Heyman Smackdown shoot on McMahon
NoCalMike replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Wrestling
The thing is though, if you look at Heyman's shoot in context, it isn't the dates that are really important. I am sure if he does the same type of shoot, while not being on the WWE payroll, he would have more time to get dates and times percise for all the wrestling historians, but his overall point was valid in that Vince took wrestling and made it into sports entertainment for the mere fact that he was rich and he wanted to push what he liked over what the fans and our industry was asking for. -
Considering the show is basically a karaoke competition, at least the first few weeks are mildly entertaining because the people suck so bad. To make the show better, I think once they get down to the people who have some vocal talent, they should tell them to go write and compose their own original song, then come back and see if they could even salvage a single contestant.

Meryl Streep in The Devil in Mrs. Prada!?! I can't imagine that role being worthy of an Oscar Nomination. It just seems like a run-of-the-mill role. Is there anyone who has actually seen the movie that wants to go to bat for Streep here? I haven't seen the movie, so I guess I don't truly have a frame of reference but the movie itself looks like a typical hollywood cheeseball comedy, and it seems like most actors/actresses are punished by the academy for doing comedies because they think it doesn't take much skill to be comedic, all of the sudden Streep is awarded with an Oscar nomination....

WON News + Notes, January 22nd Issue

"excessively making out with Maria" Considering all the stuff we read about that goes on backstage, I think they should be happy that, THAT is what CM Punk is doing with his free time. -

They must be for tearing and walking, rather then cutting and running....

Hey Scroby...if you ever come down to work an SPW show, or just want to check it out, let me know....

Is this just TSM overall or are we doing specific forums, because a lot of posters over the years have been pretty "insert forum here"-heavy to where if you don't go to that certain forum a lot, you might not know them very well. The main forums i post in are: WWE TNA(well I read it a lot, post a little) Current Events Sports TV/Movies General Food Love/Sex/Dating So for instance, guys like Bored, I would nominate in a second for "TSM Sports Forum HOF" but overall TSM HOF would be a hard sell since I rarely see him post in other forums.

I'm afraid this might be me starting....today. I just had my coolant flushed and filled because it looked like oil or something was in there. So today I am driving and the meter starts getting to the red, so I pull over and see coolant, brown thick shit, all over the spot I pulled over....which means it is running hot and spitting the coolant out again. So I basically wasted $75 on the coolant flush, and now I am facing the possibility of a cracked or broken head gasket which usually means the car is useless....FUCK. Oh and the car is also a 1996 Saturn with approx 102,067 miles on it....and no way in hell will I spend $1400 on a repair...

All of the Simpsons Halloween Episodes. Roseanne always seemed to have cool halloween episodes, too. If it counts, Married With Children, Sam Kinison episode(Christmas).

Well I mean it is probably as good as it is going to get. I mean the longer the PS3 is out, the less trade-in value the PS2 will have, and if you don't trade in your PS2, you will basically have a video game console sitting around that you aren't playing. The only thing that sucks is that if you have any PS2 games that you completed yet because I don't think the PS3 can accept PS2 memory cards.
-
My buddy just bought a PS3 from EB Games....he traded in his PS2 with 2 controllers and a single memory card, and they gave him $100 off the price, he said he was told that is their store policy right now for trade-in value.

Correct. I don't see how anyone watching the Bears/Saints game could have come away thinking "Wow, they will make a GREAT Superbowl team" But, I guess that is the nature of today's NFL, or moreso the NFC. The NFC hasn't sent a really SUPER-quality team to the bowl since the Bucs. The Seahawks were decent, but lets be realistic about the team they were facing, an abover-average team that caught fire at the right time of the season.

The only thing the Greens and Libertarians have in common is pretty much being lax on social issues. I still think the Greens would have a better chance then the Libertarians, because the Greens are mostly a lefter version of Democrats, as far as TRULY being against the war. Wanting to end the War on Drugs....etc....Being SERIOUS about the Enviornment and alternative energy. I kind of identify more closely with the Green Party on everything besides immigration policy, which is why I still kind of don't mind the label "progressive" http://www.gp.org/tenkey.shtml The Libertarian Party is more of a hybrid party. They are basically Ultra-Right when it comes to economic issues, but at the same time they are pretty pro-civil liberties. The thing is the libertarian party often sounds appealing to people because of their liberal stances on social issues, however once you read the principles on other issues, you run far, far away. One Major point of contention for me is their stance on wanting "personal health funds" basically the idea Bush tried to tout as a replacement for Social Security. http://www.lp.org/issues/issues.shtml

Yeah I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that the ECW originals are more over then pet projects like Lashley/Test/Terkay......3 Hours is plenty of time to send the tape of the show to production and have them lower pops for certain guys and insert canned heat for others.

The Colts have a shitty run defense, but have at least shown that they can make some big stops when they need to. The Bears have a very good defense, but I can't help believe that their medicore offense is going to need a ton of breaks in order to score enough to beat the Colts.
-
Dear Sports Media, Well now we got a sniff of the difference between a game winning Touchdown drive, and a game winning field goal drive....I wonder if once Brady got the Pats across mid-field he figured his job was done..... Sincerely, Joe Montana

Someone needs to tell the Colts Offensive coordinator that you don't necessarily need to design plays where every single WR in on the play needs to run a deep route. I mean with Harrison and Wayne going deep, why not have a RB or Dallas Clark run a 5-10 yard route because the middle is always left wide open when Harrison and Wayne are running deep. It's like the guy is spreading New Englad's defense, but for no reason. It's either, "Everyone goes deep" or "dump pass to the RB with everyone in close to block" It just seems very predictable thus far.
