  1. WTF....when did you get married? I didn't even know you were dating. Did you elope or something?
  2. 1. Toshiba Upconvert - used in living room 2. PS2 - use mainly for video games 3. DVD/VCR Combo - Part of the TV in Main bedroom 4. 5-disc DVD-changer-home theater in a box hooked up in bedroom(used to be the living room setup) 5. DVD/VCR combo in 2nd bedroom 6. 3. Is anyone seriously wondering if they will install a draft or at least try to? Lets look at the situation: The right is already basically saying Iran is fully involved in arming Sunnis and they want something done to Iran. Considering how shaky the evidence was to get us into Iraq, it would be of no suprise if War in Iran wasn't coming soon. Bush already came out today and said he wants to increase troop size for Iraq. We have major generals arguing that there is no place to get these imaginary troops, and that if Bush is thinking about calling up more National Guardsmen then he is crazy because they are not trained for this type of stuff, and definately did not sign up for this. Bush has acknowledged that our military right now is stretched thin which could hurt our efforts in not only the current War(s) but other problem sports around the world. So since the war in Iraq sees NO END IN SIGHT, on the contrary, looks to be expanding, to possibly be including Iran in the near furture. Where are we going to get all these extra troops from? Then you have to look at it like this. Bush is an unpopular lameduck President. If he tries to reinstate the draft before he leaves office, sure his popularity would go down some more, but it is already in the shitter, what does he have to lose now? It would also take the pressure off the next President from having to make that kind of decision, especially if they it happened to be a GOP member, as this whole situation can and probably will be blamed on Bush once the next President is sworn in, no matter who it is, and the draft could equally be blamed on Bush. The only thing is I dunno if the President has the unilateral power to reinstate the Draft. I am sure before this administration the answer was, "No He doesn't" but all of this new War On Terrorism doctrine stuff seems to leave an awful lot up to the President and the President alone.....!?!
  4. So I just got done watching the J-horror flick, Dark Water. As some of you might know, the movie was remade a couple years back with Jennifer Conolly for "American Audiences" I must say that it is a shame that foreign films, especially horror films aren't just given wide releases here instead of being re-made. A lot of the atmosphere is ruined and traded in for cheap parlor tricks in the america remakes. I have heard the argument that american audiences would not appreciate the japanese flicks because of the cultural themes in them, however I would hope that americans seeking out these films would be smart enough to understand different cultures. I, personally have no problem understanding the outlying themes, and actually appreciate it even more because it is something different then hollywood has to offer. It's not even like most of the japanese horror films are groundbreaking or anything, but it is a shame that good and decent j-horror flicks are remade into crap-tacular american films, and on top of that 90% of the people seeing them don't even know they are remakes. The worst part is that usually the american remakes are reviewed by critics so harshly(with the exception of The Ring) that it detours people from even wanting to see the original. So do yourself a favor, the next time you see an ad for a horror flick, that has to do with a kid, a ghost(usually with LONG SPOOKY BLACK HAIR) and a lonely mother....check to see if it was originall a J-horror flick!!!
  5. Damn that is a lot of people to drop on us at once....well I guess we can use it as a guide for your future stories, since it will be hard to remember all that, haha.

    Poison the Well

When I think of Brutal, I think, Suffocation, Skinless, Vital Remains.
  7. Even though overall the WWECW has been average at best, there have been plenty of good matches they can single out for a good, entertaining One hour show. As far as RVD/Lashley goes in two weeks, it is almost guaranteed that Test runs in because he feels he deserved the title shot since he won the Triple Threat Match.
  8. You know what bugs me? Going into the freezer to get ice for my drink, only to find an empty ice bowl. I am the type of person that likes ice with my drink. I like drinking my drinks at maxium coldness. Whether it is the hottest day of summer, or coldest day of winter, that is just the way I am. During the Winter time it is ok because no one else uses ice for their drinks much, but in the summer it can get frustrating. Everyone uses it at their convenience, but they don't NEED it like I do, so they just use it when it's there and don't ever bother to make new ice in the ice trays. ( We don't have a water line hooked up to the freezer so we have to make ice manually. )
  9. Tonight's show wasn't bad. They seemed to pack a lot into an hour. I wonder if they actually used the real votes from the fans because Test only got 18% and if it was fixed, you'd think either Test would win, or it would be a hell of a lot closer....lol. RVD is still the cream of the crop of ECW according to the fans. Please listen Vince.
  10. Well the thing is, if neither the 360 or PS3 could be compatible with 1080i then that would be one thing, but I have seen what games look like on my TV when my friend brough his 360 over, and the gaming experience when playing in HD is truly amazing, and I'd hate to have a next-gen system and not be able to take full advantage of it.
  11. My friend who has a PS3 is dying to get Motorstorm just based off of what he saw on display at Best Buy. As for NoCalMike, just wait a year or two for when the price drops 40-50 percent. By then the library of games will be much better, the technical flaws should be tweaked and the must buy games like FF13, RE5 and GTA 4 should be out. I love being able to play Fall of Man but there isn't any single reason that I could think of for wanting a PS3 right now. I dunno, I still would feel ripped off if I am unable to play my games in HD, where as with the 360 I could.
  12. I am pretty close to giving up on PS3. The price makes it unattainable for me without specifically saving up for it, the HD compadability issues will fuck me over because I have 1080i not 1080p, and the last resort for PS3, was the exclusive games it had, and now that isn't even going to hold true anymore......I really don't want to have to go the next five or so years without playing Ratchet & Clank, but it looks like that is going to happen.

    Orange juice.

I prefer medium pulp. OJ is good!!!
  14. They are gonna burn the fans out on Angle/Joe before they have a chance to make the matches even MORE meaningful.
  15. So Angle is going to be doing MMA style matches on TNA PPVs? Are they really going to be worked-shoots? Because it won't look good to see Kurt Angle get his ass stretch/tapped and/or KTFO by MMA guys.
  16. So when does this come out, and/or when can we start reading about the "dirt" ?
  17. It screened here, but I didn't get a chance to see it. I will definately rent it though.
  18. You're clueless. You don't draw the biggest ratings, sell the biggest merch totals, generate the loudest reactions except in northeast and hardcore cities where other former players in Cena's place struggle if you're not over. Edge is also over. Overness isn't limited to one person. Pops don't determine your overness. Undertaker gets big pops but he isn't a draw and you couldn't put a promotion behind him. You can do this with Cena. The thing is, Cena is the most pushed on the show so the love from the kids/women/casual fan should be automatic. Those kinds of fans are the easiest to get over with because they basically follow whatever FACE is in the main event regardless of who it is. Cena's failure is the lack of ability to appeal to anyone besides the bread & butter uber-face fan base. And yes, sure Cena makes money, because quite frankly it isn't hard to get kids to want to buy your merchandise when you have WWE Marketing behind your super push. The thing is, you could put a lot of guys in Cena's current spot and they would make just as much money, but instead they would also put on good wrestling matches. There is nothing special about Cena that justifies why he needs to be the #1 face in the company. It's funny because his old gimmick was "The Prototype" and he basically is the Prototype for what Vince wants as his champion when someone else that makes a shitload of money, isn't there to make Vince backoff.
  19. The problem though is that every Rumble/Battle Royal...only ONE GUY does it, and it is almost a shoe-in that they are somehow involved in the finish. Logic would say that BY NOW, you at least have more then ONE GUY deciding to lurk around ringside, that or the guys in the ring noticing someone missing, and demanding he get back into the ring before continuing. The "he hasn't actually been eliminated" gimmick has been done to death by now, they need to find a way to put a new spin on it.
  20. Wow...we have NEEEEEEEVER seen that type of ending before!?! WWE creative needs to come up with some new endings to these things.
  21. WWE has a real oppurtunity tonight with the battle royal. I mean everyone knows the usual group of likely winners, and who will end up getting title shots down the road regardless, but tonight, a debuting Monty Brown or someone in the mid-card, winning the battle royal would probably at least give something to the crowd other then the same old shit happening at the top of the ME scene.
  22. Yeah. Originally when we got Oreo we also adopted his natural sister, but she had lukemia(sp?) and she had to be put to sleep. So we went to the place that we adopted them from, and told them of the bad news, and they told us that it was their policy that if something like that happened, then we could get another kitten for free, so we got Cooley, and he ended up being bigger, but they have bonded really well and usually cuddle at night which is cool, because I know a lot of the times cats that don't come from the same litter will only get so close.....but these two really have acted like natural brothers.
  23. Yes, very busy today, had something else planned for the blog, but no time, so instead you get a picture of my cats..... Oreo Cooley
  24. Well the Redskins have somewhat of a blue-print for other D-Coordinators on how to slow the Saints' offense.
