The reality of the situation is, merely announcing the signing of a wrestler is not going to change any wrestling landscape or situation, because right now in the wrestling industry there is no single worker that is just sooo huge that they can carry a wrestling company. This HAS to be an announcement about a new head to head timeslot, or at the least an expansion to two hours. If this is merely to announce the signing of a wrestler, then it will be a huge dissapointment.

Maybe people just are more interested in seeing ECW than Raw.

Yeah except the Male teachers aren't going after the popular,attractive, horny blonde with the big breasts, that looks like she should be in porn rather then math class...They're not? Are you sure about that? Really? I'm still trying to figure out how someone arrives at the conclusion that, if a male teacher has sex with a female student, that it's almost certainly because the girl is emotionally fragile and the teacher is some kind of manipulative sexual predator, but if a female teacher has sex with a male student, not only is that never the case, but it's probably because the teacher was "open for business" anyway. Basically, according to NoCalMike (unless I've completely misread his posts, which I'll concede is possible), female teachers who have sex with students only do so with handsome, horny young boys with healthy self-esteem, and male teachers who have sex with students only do so with ugly, overweight young girls with poor self esteem. Apparently, in NoCalMike's world, male teachers never try to sleep with attractive teenage girls, and attractive teenage girls never want to sleep with male teachers... I know it's been a while since I personally went through high school, but I find both those concepts hard to believe. You missed the part where I said I was speaking in general. I never said anything about the boy being handsome with high self esteem, and I never said the girls had to be overweight and/or ugly. There were plenty of attractive girls at my school that weren't "popular" because they just didn't get along with the poplular girls for whatever reason. I have mentioned at least twice that I am speaking in general and not for every single case ever put out there, so there is no reason to be rebuffing my statements by using words like "Never" or "Always" I had a World Civ. teacher in highschool who has a good looking dude, and all the hot chicks would talk about wanting to get with him, but it was all talk, and actually being propositioned by him would have had them trembling look fools and not knowing what to do. There is a lot of difference between what people say and what people do, and highschool kids are known to do the highest percentage of shit-talking compared to actual action.

Ok, do you have a specific case or situation you have to tell me about? You have to know I am talking in general here, as there is always an exception to the rule, however looking at a picture of Debra Lafave, I can guarantee you that self-esteem issues would have little to do with a teenage boy chomping at the bit to bone her. And basically in her case it had little to do with self-esteem, she said flat out, he wanted it, so she gave it to him.

The problem with most Jon Heder movies is Jon Heder. The guy can't act. Napolean Dynamite worked so well because minus the glasses and red curly hair wig, it is basically Jon Heder playing himself. He is just as robotic and monotone in every role I have seen him play since, even in promos and interviews he comes off as a living corpse.

There are rare situations/circumstances where a double-standard is warranted. THIS is one of those situations. There is a big difference between an adult female simply offering up sex and an adult male putting forth coercion and self-esteem tricks in order to break down a girl mentally to where she will have sex with him. If you can't see the difference you are blind or ignorant. Once again, it doesn't make either situation right, but they are still definately different.

I like the twist, the fact that the writers had everyone believing Chase sided with Marcus, but she actually sided with Cthhon, it should be interesting though to see how that plays out next season, because she is still only a half-blood so she will never be fully accepted by the pure-bloods, but she also fucked over Marcus so where does that leave her? Also, didn't that one dirty cop who started out as a familiar, Boone, that they turned, never actually die? They THOUGHT they killed him, but then they showed the shot of him still alive, but then he never appeared for the rest of the season. Hopefully he re-emerges next season. Good stuff!!!

Yeah, I feel more animosity towards her because of the cheating on her husband, but as far as the 14 year old, it isn't going to damage him, and he will be a local hero for a long time, maybe even into college if he lets it be known who he is. When I was a freshman in highschool I had a teacher that looked similar to Lafave and I can say for sure if she would have offered it up, I would have hit it in a hot second. Sure she was wrong, and probably shouldn't ever teach again, but if anyone tries to compare this to a male teacher fucking a female student, they are retarded.

I dunno if I am the only one at TSM that is watching this every week, but this series has suprisingly been AWESOME, and the preview for the season finale tonight looks great. My biggest gripe is with Marcus Van Whatever, he just seems like too much of a wimp/lightweight to be a major villian. My hope is that tonight in the season finale, Blade, Shen and Krista end up killing Marcus and taking down Chthon, and then next season picks up with the trio moving on to another Vampire house to take down.

Its 'ass-kicking' to attack first and go on the offensive. Its 'pussy' move to after attacked, to talk things out with the attacker rather than to be proactive and fight/win. Where on earth have the FDR/Truman dems gone? The ones that supported a leader that wanted unconditional surrender from the Japs and Nazis? After Pearl Harbor, was FDR's first move to "negotiate" with the Japanese? I dont think it was. Truman, who didnt shed a tear when he nuked 150,000 innocent Japanese in order to WIN a war? Yeah, but he didn't use Pearl Harbor as a reason to attack China or Korea. He went after the bastards who ATTACKED us.

Well if ECW isn't live anymore that is Step 1, now they need to execute Step 2 which is give them their own tapings in front of ECW Crowds and tape 2-3 weeks at once.

Well the show definately came off very good on TV, probably a lot due to the NY Crowd, and their general knowledge and appreciation for ECW. Everyone says Vince listens to NY Crowds(probably only when it suits his own plans) but if there is any truth to that notion, then I hope he was listening tonight because just about every ECW Original besides Stevie(who barely counts because he doesn't use his old ecw gimmick) was massively over, while WWECW guys were booed and mocked and shit on by the fans...... I'd say my favorite WWECW guy this far is Big Show merely because he is seeming to give an effort and generally looks like he wants to be over with the crowd, not as a face, but more as a respect thing. I am sure he will wear out his welcome because with his limitations there is only so much uniqueness you can put into his matches before they all seem the same, but thus far they have done a good job with him and his role.....
