Cheney was just basically repeating the same rhetoric about "We didn't say Saddam and 9/11 were linked, we said Saddam and Al Qaeda were linked" As if making those types of statements, mixed with random inaccurate information regarding "Saddam and WMDS" weren't going to cloud the reality of the situation. The biggest myth leading up to the Iraq War was that there wasn't conflicting information regarding Iraq/Saddam/WMDs....there was plenty of conflicting information and plenty of agents and intelligence members that told Bush/Cheney/Rummy to basically STFU, but they ignored them.

So I guess right about now McMahon should be writing RVD a back-payment for 30 days worth of pay.

In highschool you were mostly going to school with the same kids since Elementary school, and there was probably such a limited amount of things to do academically and socially, that most people fall into one big group or a bunch of smaller groups that just merge at parties/dances/kick-backs etc... In College, everyone is probably into their own thing and you just have to actively seek out people with similar interests. Check bulletin boards, postings, listings etc...for clubs/groups/social gatherings that seem interesting, a lot of times you might meet the best people via friends of friends of friends etc....you never know.

The funny thing is how the ESPN Experts change their mind from week to week, they overreact to EVERYTHING. They will change their picks for division winners about ten times throughout the season. They are just as clueless about the outcomes as the rest of us.

This is not to imply that it's some rampant problem in our military, but why are our offenders going to be protected instead of held to the same laws we're enforcing for detainees, not all of whom may be guilty (much like our own soldiers)? Possibly because if they start prosecuting the little guys, they will open their mouths and spill the beans about how higher ups might have ordered them to do certain things. For example with the prisoner abuse, it was noticed that similar practices were being executed in different prisons in different countries where we were holding detainees, which makes a strong argument that it wasn't just a "random soldier getting his kicks" and that is was a direct command from higher up(s) to use those certain practices.

Oh how I wish Bush would follow his lead....

I think an eventual love triangle is going to happen between Nancy, the DEA Agent, and Conrad. It seems Conrad and Nancy keep getting closer and have a natural attraction, and she seems to be merely dating the DEA Agent because he appears to be the "perfect guy" Also it is only a matter of time before Nancy's drug momma finds out about her plans to branch out alone, and WITH Conrad....that should be a shitstorm. The show is great, as good as Season 1 was, Season 2 is bringing the awesomeness in all sorts of new ways.
