Big reason this match wasn't as good as Holly/RVD is because Test had to be obviously protected so much more, and by protected I don't mean his status, I mean his lack of ability had to be protected. This match looked much more staged, as where last week RVD/Holly were able to make it look more like two guys just going at it.

I am kind of wondering if from here on out ECW-only PPVs, will be strictly booked according to how the weekly TV show sets them up, or if they will be booked like the One Night Stand and ECW-of-old PPVs, where you had your straight matches, and then there was always some stuff unexpected taking place. I also wonder, after December to Dismember, when is the next ECW PPV, because right now I would say the current roster is good enough to put on an entertaining PPV, but then comes the second PPV, where it would seem virtually like the same exact guys, just mixed around a bit.

Well the seeds for an RVD/Big Show program have been planted. It is almost assured to lead to an over-over-over-booked extreme rules match at the December PPV, with RVD coming away with the strap.

I took my first break, and saw Thomas hit his first homerun, and then on my lunch break the A's got the win!!! I can only hope that my breaks at work are this pleasant tomorrow.

I bought Wildboyz Season 3/4 DVD, and there is a trailer for "Extreme Predator" which is basically Manny Puig's movie. It is basically like Wildboyz except Manny gets most of the camera time and animal involvement, while Steve-O, Pontius, and Knoxville play backup roles.

So did they cut out the Don Vito "Remove this tooth" scene from Jackass 2 because of Don Vito's trouble with the law? I had forgotten all about that scene, until I rented a movie that the original trailer for Jackass 2. I wonder if it will still be on the DVD. I believe that same skit was the only one featuring Brandon Dicarmilo(sp?) in it as well, as I don't remember seeing him in the movie.

If ECW's ratings are slipping .3 - .5 points due to the non-RAW/Smackdown presence in the Main Event matches, then I think it is a fair trade-off. Lets face it, they can't rely on Raw/Smackdown talent forever, so if it takes a few months of lower ratings to get people to pay attention and buy into ECW guys as the Main Event material, then SO BE IT.

Why do people think he and Robertson are still relevant? It's not Falwell or Robertson so much that has to be worried about, rather the priests and preachers etc....that basically outright tell every member of their church to vote conservative merely because of the abortion issue.

What bugs me is when my girlfriend has leftovers of something really good, like steak, and she just lets it sit there, and I keep asking her if I can just eat it before it goes bad, and she keeps insisting that she is going to eat it, "for my next meal" And then eventually she goes to open the container a week later and the shit is moldy and rotten.

Most of the time when wrestlers go on to make a lot of money outside of wrestling, it usually spells the end of their career, full time at least. I wouldn't doubt that Jericho comes back on a limited contract/basis, but assuming he is making enough money right now, then he will probably have too much leverage as far as contracts go when he comes back, not just money-wise, but creative control-wise, unless he just doesn't care and lets Vince do with him what he wants.

We all have seen myspace, and we have seen the ugly it can bring, and you don't even fall close to that category and you know it. Also, it sounds kind of contradictory because you post more pics of yourself on there then just about anyone else I have ever seen. Not to mention linking a page to a thousand more pics of yourself. If you feel so pressured and insecure, you sure have a funny way of showing it by posting a shitload of pics on almost a daily basis.

Leena, the first half of this blog might not go over so well with your PIT buddies.....lol. The bigger problem is that people think Patriotism can be summed up with an american flag sticker or waving a flag in the first place. They probably act and live no different then before, but because they've added an american flag decal to their car, suddenly "Their voice is heard" I also think it is damn ignorant and pretty annoying that people claim "9/11 changed the world" when in reality all it did was welcome America to the REST OF THE WORLD.

When I first made my myspace page, I figured it was a free way to accomplish what classmates.com was trying to charge for....so within the first few weeks I basically found the people I was looking for, and have their numbers/contact information, and thus I haven't updated and barely even look at my page anymore. Every once in awhile I will get a friend request from some band or some fake porn person, but that is standard I hear.

I don't think Holly came out a face, the crowd just appreciated the well-worked match(well the second half), and usually when it looks like a wrestler gets a legit injury during a match, the crowd will give them an ovation afterwards.

Nothing CHANGED when Christian and/or Sting signed....granted, Kurt Angle is a bigger name in 2006 then either of those two, but as long as Jarrett has the power of the book then I don't see much change in the future.

So is the movie completely scripted, unlike the Borat skits on the TV show? I mean that would be my problem, as Borat works better when the people he comes in contact with actually think he is Borat.

The thing right now about the ECW show is that SOMETHING good, is only a commercial break away most of the time, where as on Raw and Smackdown, most, if not all hope, is lost. Also, since there is still a bunch of talent signed that hasn't appeared yet, you never know when the next person we haven't seen yet is going to get rolled out for a match. Another thing is, since it seems the climate in ECW is everchanging, due to all the different creative minds at work on it, you never really know for sure what is going to happen. Besides the World Title scene, which will probably be held by TBS until the December PPV, the rest of the show is pretty unpredictable. I mean two months ago, people probably thought Test & Mike Knox would be undefeated as a tag team and on top of the ECW card, but that changed, thankfully.

Redskins vs. Jags.... Redskins offense looked entirely different with Portis playing, of course it was the Titans. Jags bring a good D, but have their own problems with scoring as well. Washington at home takes this one. Redskins 24 Jags 13

So I just got back from visting a friend in Texas, and they have Sweet Tea there, no not the Nestea or Snapple mix, but actual gallons of sweat tea at the supermarket. I believe it was "Red Diamond" Sweet Tea. It is also served at most resteraunts. So is Sweat Tea just a southern thing, because today I tried two Grocery stores and couldn't find the shit, just the mixes for the bigger name brands. Dammit I want some of that shit now.

Sure, Sandman/Big Show has no build, but hey, at least it isn't DX or Batista....yeah Sandman is going to eat it pretty hard tonight, especially with the match NOT being extreme rules, but there is always the chance he goes the Sabu route and just gets himself DQ'd and an entertaining brawl ensues. Lets just hope that RVD can dispose of Holly pretty fast, not meaning a squash match, but meaning ending the feud quickly so he can get back into the title picture.
