  1. Wha? Sorry about that, it's been fixed, it was Khali. Didn't mean to make everybody think Fake Kane was coming back.
  2. Some more detailed spoilers: The show starts with MVP in the ring in the VIP Lounge. He brings out his new Tag Team Championship partner, Matt Hardy. They showed the recap of MVP making the pin last week. He says he won the match on his own because he is better than Matt. Matt had them show another clip of MVP with both belts on the phone telling someone that he won the Tag titles on his own. Matt comes in to get his belt, sucker punches MVP and takes his belt. Back to the lounge and MVP tells Matt they have a rematch at Unforgiven with Deuce & Domino. He also tells Matt that he has a match tonight as a warm-up against Deuce. He calls for a ref and the guys to clear the ring. Matt Hardy over Deuce - MVP tripped Deuce and Matt got the pin for the win. Kenny Dykstra and Victoria come out for a match. Chuck Palumbo's music hits but he never comes out. It plays for several minutes and there's nothing. Victoria gets a make and says that Kenny is a future hall of famer. Kenny says that he has the brightest future on Smackdown and that he's so good that nobody in the back wants to face him. We announces himself the winner by forfeit. There may have been a problem though as a production guy flew over the barricade and ran to the back. (This segment was retaped - see below. Motorcycle problem?) Kane & Batista over Finlay & Khali. Jamie Noble set a leprechaun trap in the back for Hornswoggle using Lucky Charms as bait. Chuck Palumbo w/ Michelle McCool over Kenny Dykstra w/ Victoria. In the back, Hornswoggle takes the bait and gets under the trap, Noble pulls the rope but it breaks. He checks and the Cruiserweight belt is under it. He goes for the belt but it gets pulled out and the trap falls on Noble. Cruiserweight Championship: Hornswoggle over Jamie Noble via Countout. Noble didn't come out so the ref rang the bell and counted him out. Jamie hit the ring right at the count of 10 but not in time. I Quit Match: Rey Mysterio over Chavo Guerrero. Rey took out Chavo the same way by hitting his knee with a chair repeatedly while he was hung up in the corner.
  3. No chance of that Holly/Eugene team now. WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Smackdown talent Eugene as of September 1. We wish Eugene the best in all future endeavors. WWE.com
  4. According to house who report from Terra Haute, indeed neither Kennedy nor Umaga were there. Booker wasn't either, but he's often not on these house shows and wasn't even advertised or was on a press release until Friday anyway.
  5. Spoilers, I believe are complete.
  6. According to WWE.com Hardy/Umaga for the IC title has been made for Raw, so not hard to predict the winner there.
  7. From gerweck.net Dark: - Jessie and Festus d. ? (Los Locos or Ramone and Raul?). ECW: - I was told that The Boogeyman d. Striker via DQ, thanks to Big Daddy V. - The Miz d. Balls Mahoney. - Elijah Burke and Kevin Thorn d. Tommy Dramer and Stevie Richards. - CM Punk d. John Morrison to capture the ECW Title. Smackdown: - Smackdown taping starts with MVP coming out to a living room setup in the ring for "In the VIP Lounge," and he introduces Matt Hardy as his guest. - Matt Hardy defeated Deuce. Hardy doesn't know it was with the assistance from MVP outside the ring. - Kenny Dykstra beat Chuck Palumbo via forfeit. This will be edited out of the show as Palumbo's bike didn't start. - Batista & Kane b. Khali & Finlay - Chuck Palumbo defeated Kenny Dykstra. - Cruiserweight title match: Hornswoggle wins against Jamie Noble as a result of a countout. Noble was trying to catch Hornswoggle in a trap with lucky charms, and ended up caught in the trap himself. That's why he was counted out. - Rey Mysterio defeated Chavo Guerrero in an "I Quit" match. Khali came out and put Mysterio in the vise grip. Just as Rey is about down, Batista runs out and attacks Khali and then goes to check on Mysterio. Teddy Long comes out and announces a change for the main event at Unforgiven. It will be a triple threat match, Khali vs. Mysterio vs. Batista. Notes: * Most heat: Chavo Guerrero. * Loudest pop: Matt Hardy and Batista * Fans went CRAZY for CM Punk vs. John Morrison * Fans slept through the Palumbo vs. Dykstra match.
  8. If he eventully manages to recover, that may be the best timed injury in recent memory.
  9. Just have Coach say (with some resentment) that Regal gave himself a month of paid vacation and that he's stuck with the dirty work, starting with Umaga suspended from Raw because too many wrestlers refuse to step in the ring with him. The other wrestlers refused to step in the ring with Umaga and are suspended as well for being pansies. Actually Haas is easy. Just have Shelton say that along with his new hair he's flying solo without Charlie to prove himself as a singles competitor again; then do a program with Jeff Hardy. Chavo gets suspended/forced to take a vacation by Vickie to prevent him from screwing with Mysterio before his title match at Unforgiven. Kennedy's tricky to get rid of.
  10. Just have Coach say (with some resentment) that Regal gave himself a month of paid vacation and that he's stuck with the dirty work, starting with Umaga suspended from Raw because too many wrestlers refuse to step in the ring with him.
  11. I know Marella, Batista, Booker, and Masters were confirmed as customers, I don't believe (not yet anyway) that any of them have been said to have recieved drugs that violate the wellness policy.
  12. According to Wikipedia his full name is Robert Booker Tio Huffman.
  13. The next edition of TEW needs to include steroid related suspension and congressional hearings as features.
  14. Curious if Booker is gone as well, as he's not mentioned in the SI article and this is the first time he's been mentioned in connection with something like this.
  15. Is it anyway confirmed that all those are suspended or were simply clients of that particular pharmacy?
  16. So long Raw heels. This Monday night is going to interesting. Get ready for your ECW fued of CM Punk vs. Big Daddy V.
  17. Any chance of a remotely stable Iraq disappeared when the CPA pissed away every opportunity to successfully rebuild the infrastructure.
  18. Morrison doesn't feel so much like a wrestler doing a promo as he does a guy from the street they asked to talk about some random people.
  19. From PWPopup.com Dark Matches *They aired the WWE corporate promotional video. *Johnny Jeter pinned Kenny Dykstra with a spinning heel kick off the top rope. Crowd got into the match as it went on. *The Daltons defeated Dave Taylor & Paul Burchall after Jesse pinned Burchall following a rocket launcher. *WWE Video Feature on Christmas in Iraq. *JBL and Michael Cole are introduced. Smackdown: *Video feature on Rey Mysterio's return to Smackdown. *Smackdown opens with WWE World champion The Great Khali and Singh in the ring. Teddy Long tells them that the new number one contender will be determined in a tournament tonight. The tournament will be Finlay vs. Kane and Batista vs. Rey Mysterio with the two winners facing each other. *Finlay defeated Kane in a tournament bout. Kane throws Finlay's shillelagh down the entrance way to keep it from the ring. Kane hits the chokeslam but Hornswoggle comes out to distract him. Finlay grabs another shillelagh, hits Kane with it while the referee is distracted, then gets the pin. *They air a MVP-Matt Hardy video feature, spotlighting the basketball challenge. Matt Hardy and MVP defeated Deuce and Domino to capture the WWE Tag Team champions. MVP and Hardy jawjack before the match. Matt goes right after Deuce and Domino. The crowd chants for MVP. Hardy and MVP argue between tags like Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin used to. Crowd chants for MVP again. MVP goes to the outside to hit on Cherry, missing a tag from Hardy, who has been taking a beating for most of the match. Hardy finally tags MVP by slapping him in the face. Matt hits the twist of fate on Deuce, then MVP throws Hardy to the outside, then scores the pin. MVP has both belts as he walks to the back *Backstage, Vince McMahon tells Batista that he used to spend a lot of time in Washington, DX, so Batista could be his son. Batista says that since he was broke and Vince has a ton of money that if Batista is indeed hi son, he would beat him for not helping he and hos mother when they were dirt poor. Vince then says he doesn't see any family resemblance. *Eugene is in the ring shooting t-shirts out of an air gun when Mark Henry comes out. Henry takes him out with the bear hug and takes the ring mic. He says that he's not scared of the Undertaker coming back at Unforgiven. An Undertaker video begins to play. They show the roads leading to a desert then they show the floor of the desert with Undertaker's hand comes up from the under the ground. Really well produced. *Rey Mysterio defeated Batista by DQ in a Tournament Match. Batista gets the bigger pop during entrances. They have a pre-match hug. Good match. The finish sees Finlay come to ringside with a chair. Finlay hits the ring but Batista gets the chair. The referee goes to grab it and Batista shoves him down. DQ. *Video recap of the Vince McMahon-HHH confrontation on Raw. *Video promoting season debut of Survivor featuring Ashley Massaro. *Vince McMahon and Jonathan Coachman make their way to the ring. Coach brings out a bunch of hot women, claiming McMahon has been with them. The first is named Cheryl with the idea Vince was with her in 1983. They then bring out three women Vince allegedly had at the same time one New Year's. They then bring out a Nun named Sister Mary Katherine. Vince says he wants one more night with all five. He says his family is coming to confront him on Raw this Monday. *Chuck Palumbo takes the Masterlock Challenge. Masters went for it but pulled Palumbo back instead and tried beating him up. Palumbo got the upper hand. Masters rolled out and went to the back. *They air a graphic video invitation for the Teddy Long/Kristal Marshall wedding in two weeks. *The Daltons do a video feature on "Going back to school." *Backstage, Jamie Noble is telling Shannon Moore that next week, he'll get his Cruiserweight championship match against Hornswoggle and after he wins, no one will ever laugh at him again. He tells Moore to get lost and walks away, but someone had stuck a "I Love Leprechauns" sign on Noble's back. *Raw promo *Rey Mysterio pinned Finlay with the 619 and a springboard into rollup to earn a title shot against WWE World champion The Great Khali. Mysterio is favoring his back from the match earlier tonight. Finley works over Rey's leg, but Mysterio uses his quickness to come back. Khali comes out. Rey is barely in the camera shot as they go face to face. Khali shoves Rey down.
  20. Hopefully Nick will resist his father's exaggerating ways when he appears in court. "Your honor was it was my $300,000 car. I drove it 200mph faster than anyone in Miami had ever gone in front of 80,000 people, in fact one passerby was blown away so much he died three days later."
  21. I'm liking how different the three top heels on Raw are. Umaga's the monster, no motive except physically destroying people. Booker's the pompous ass, preferring to humiliate others so he looks good. And Orton? The disturbed sociopath, he'll hurt people in every way possible, their family included.
  22. According to a list from PWInsider, New Years Revolution has been scrapped from the PPV schedule. With the rumors of Cyber Sunday turning into a 3 hour special the company might be back to 13 PPVs a year.
  23. Kane pinned Finlay clean after a chokeslam. Umaga retained via samoan spike on Kennedy. Mysterio (looking like the silver surfer) pinned Chavo. Beth Phoenix won the battle royal. Morrison pinned Punk using the ropes, but that was botched. HHH pinned Booker via Pedigree after missed Houston Hangover. Khali was DQ'd for hitting Batista with a chair. Cena pinned Orton via FU.
  24. Half of Unforgiven seems booked already. Orton/Cena II, Morrison/Punk IV, Batista/Khali II, and Booker/HHH II. For those who saw it, what were the star ratings for the various matches?
  25. This PPV is a little too similar to last year's edition in regards to not much happening.
