There are two places in LA where I've seen snow this past week: Studio City and Long Beach, just a little play area. Someone must have carted some snow over to surprise people.

A reason why the great Police Squad! was taken off the air was because there were so many visual jokes. People don't sit and watch TV, they leave the TV on while they iron, cook, and do other things. Obviously TNA has the right idea with their play by play; we can follow it without looking.

Yeah, Top Gun Talwar used to be one of the owners, but he very quietly retired. I don't even know when this happened, and don't remember any announcement, but his last match was so bad even he said he was embarrassed. Disco Machine also retired as owner and wrestler, so now there are four owners. And make that 3 shows, PWG did have All Star Weekend in August, as a replacement for BOLA. I don't know how many people know that Chris Hero is the PWG champ, but he's going to become the second-longest-reigning champion in PWG history, and he's only defended it twice, on consecutive days at that All Star Weekend. The longest-reigning champ is Joey Ryan, who had it for over a year.

It's a brilliant idea by NBC, and I don't see why Leno fans won't follow him to this.

PWG needs to step it up with their promotion. They have their biggest show of the year, BOLA, delayed indefinitely, apparently because of time conflicts with the wrestlers, but then end up running it with a reduced lineup anyway. It was supposed to be in August, and ended up being run on Halloween weekend. Their last show before that was in July. Their next show won't be until January. That's barely 2 shows over 6 months. They can't even give us any updates on the storylines, of which there aren't much. Low Ki won BOLA, and apparently gets a title shot, but no mention of it was made after the show. PWG used to be a source of pride for LA, being a unique and original indy in a country where almost nothing in the West gets much attention. Hopefully they can steer away from aiming at supershows with the same wrestlers you can see anywhere, and get back to using the local talent that made them great.

Well it makes sense that Ray and Angle would agree to it. I guess Shelley will win the X Title and drop it to Homicide the next day or something.

For Squirrels was a great band. They're one for the "What if" category, since half of the band died just before their first big album was released.

Oh, well there's no disappointment, then. I'm stuck in a different house, and was reading yesterday's newspaper thinking it was today. Oops!

With the Kings destroying Columbus, if the Ducks don't do the same tonight, there just won't be enough hyperbole to describe the disappointment.

If you're not against talk radio, go for Adam Carolla, the best talk show host there is. The podcasts are split up into multiple parts, so you can get a few segments at a time. Go for the ones like This Week in Rage, where it's him ranting about something. Tim Conway Jr. is on the same station here in LA, and he's excellent, too. Download one of the Wednesday shows with him and Arsenio Hall, they're always great comedy.
