Yeah, Lost is infamous for showing something in previews and making it the be-all end-all of the show and it turns out to be nothing.

I haven't seen his fight where he lost but from what I've heard Jacare doesn't take well to being punched in the face. I don't think anybody is sleeping on his sub ability but it's a world of difference from grappling tourneys to having a guy throw elbow strikes at your head.

I dunno about Rich's size @ 205, he's a huge MW and we've already seen undersized 205'ers like Shogun struggle with bigger fighters in the division. Talent-wise Rich for sure has the skills to make an impact though but I'd enjoy seeing a Lyoto rematch along with fights against guys like Chuck and Wanderlei.

I'm not going to go into details about it but has anybody here been to Lostpedia and checked out the dialogue from the Orchid orientation video? Reading that gives some serious insight into Ben's desert adventure from the last week. Spoiler tag your replies if you have seen it as many won't want to know what's said.

So, I hate everything Kevin Iole from Yahoo! Sports writes but the article he has on MMA Junkie is about the money UFC makes and pays and he mentions that unless Elite XC pulls a big rating on the debut CBS show they'll be out of business within the year. Anybody else hear this?

So, something that just recently came back to me regarding the Q and A with Dana is when somebody asked him if the director of the Ontario Athletic Commission was there and Dana said he had no clue. Now, if UFC cares as much about breaking through into Ontario as they say they do you'd figure the President of the company would know if he was there or not.

Doerkson cut by UFC. No surprise there but he'd be a very solid pickup for EliteXC at the moment.

Fun fights but horrible headliners. UFC is banking on the hometown boys on this one. Come to think of it, those are probably the two worst main and co-main events since UFC 72. Oh, and FUCKING KANG. FUCK. Goddamn it.

Yeah, good call. Man I really like this card. Even without a title main event this goes up against anything they've done in the last while.

I honestly could care less about The Others at this point, barring Richard who's awesome. Tom, Mikhail and Pickett are all dead, ditto for Alex, Karl and (maybe) Rousseau so it's pretty much the Ben Show from here on out. I thought it was weird that Ben was the one leading Hurley and Locke to the cabin. Wasn't the whole point that Hurley was the only one who could find it?

Looking at the two fights I listed as confirmed I'm curious as to two fights will get bumped off the main card. Vera/Werdum is probably a #1 contenders fight, Davis is too hot for the undercard and they need Marqurdt/Leities beacuse of the lack of MW contenders. Rivera/Kampmann will for sure get bumped but I can't see any others and there's no way Rashad/Irvin or Leben/Bisping doesn't make the main card.
