Yeah, Austin has a good rep probably because of all the acts that come to play the (I think it's) South by Southwest Festival. That show always draws quality.

Eddy/Cena has "Giant Fucking Disaster" written all over it. If there was ever a match where Cena couldn't afford to be booed, this one would be it because once Eddy fans get going they don't stop. Having said that, if they worked a Hart/Austin dynamic with the match and gradually had Cena resent the fans while Eddy gained their respect would be interesting, if not a pale comparison.

The entire stretch of Montreal to Southern Ontario is tearin' shit up lately. Broken Social Scene, Stars, Arcade Fire, The Dears, Feist etc. Awesome stuff.

That was me that said it. The term "heel" these days is objective, as the true heels are booed out of reasons that the fans don't have to give and for reasons that the WWE doesn't understand (ie. Lita).

Eddy WAS one of the best heels in the business when kayfabe was alive and well. Nowadays is a different story altogether.

Eddy/Chavo/Juvy vs Super Crazy/Rey/Psicosis. That's where the fuck it's at.

I don't doubt that this feud will lead to a good/excellent match between the two but I don't see the point for this feud. Eddy as a heel has been tried and failed in this type of environment, though Rey is more over and a better underdog then Tajiri so it's got a chance. Not much of one, but a chance. Eddy Guerrero is simply too good to hate.

They need to run an Abusive Pimp/Battered Ho storyline with Vis and Trish.

The Christian Coalition vs The Chain Gang IS the WWE fan war of 2005. Cena may be one of the most (if not the most over) wrestler with the fans but those who aren't a fan of him have been waiting very patiently for somebody to be vocal about it. That man is Christian. The time is now.

You honestly think they won't show a flashback about how Locke was paralyzed? The recap ep was good enough for what it was, it was cool seeing how everybody's beards had grown (clean shaven Sawyer? That was weird.) Next week looks off the chain, though I don't like how the focus is seemingly on Jack vs Locke even though it's Sayid's ep. I suppose that the feud will integrate itself into Sayid's story. Seeing Sayid and Locke go at it intellectually should be a fucking treat.

Chalk this one up under "Letdown of the Year" so far for me. Clunky battle scenes, bad dialogue and horrendous fighting. I hate having to re-focus to whomever I was fighting if I want to change targets.
