Star for the MOTHERFUCKING WIN. GAW-DAMN. -
Nighthawk- On principle I agree but these are physiological shoes that deal with back, knee and hip problems. In terms of expensive shoes my biggest purchase was a $350 pair of Cole Haans and those only get busted out for serious nights out/weddings/funerals.

Methinks Vince taking the supporting roles might net him his first major award nod.

No way they'll give Le that tough of a test in his first title defense. -
Marvin, I work at an orthopedic shoe stores. Crocs ain't shit, son. Rock a pair of $400 hand-made Finnamic shoes from Germany and THEN talk about comfort.

So this one falls under the category of "Stumbled across in randomly on TMN and gave it a shot" and man am I glad I did. Easily one of the best nature documentaries I've seen in a long time. I never thought a movie about sharks would be this dark and heartbreaking but it is. The movie is filmed and narrated by Toronto native Rob Stewart who's been fascinated with sharks since a young age. For the first bit it's basically the standard narrative about how important sharks are to our ecosystem and what their extermination can mean for life on our planet but it really picks up when Paul quits his job as a marine biologist and starts to explore the illegal finning industry particularly exposing the scope and influence of the Asian Government when it comes to pressuring countries like Guatemala, Costa Rico and the Galapagos Islands. At one point he hooks up with eco-rebel (and some say terrorist) Paul Watson, a guy who's made headlines here in Canada recently when he made comments that four men who'd died in a seal hunt were nothing compared to the thousands of innocent seals that were slaughtered over the years. Rob joins Paul and his crew as they head to the above-mentioned countries to challenge the illegal fisherman and what follows is a study in corruption and wealth. Well filmed, not preachy and the stuff with Watson really needs to be seen to be believed. Highly recommended.

So my roommate last night somehow managed to party with Bas Rutten, The Crow and Babalu as they were all in town for the Paradise Warriors Retreat at Kombat Arts. I could've gone but I hate clubs. I know he doesn't read this forum but fuck you Mike. -

Is there any kind of club/bouncer ethics? Like, shit that no matter what you just don't do? -
Oh man that was good. I don't see it being the type of beer I can regularly drink but fuck it was delicious. Not used to the over-hoppiness of it but I'm sure that'll come with time.

Jim has never really shown that much of a dickhead side to himself aside from abruptly dumping Amy Adams in season 2 when Roy proposed to Pam on the booze cruise so I think this will be the time we see that side of him come out.

You know, if you're going to bring up a case of Harper sitting around and leaving Canadians to their own devices when they run into foreign law systems, you could at least use Brenda Martin or one of the other handful of cases involving people not trained in terrorism. This is somewhat of an offhand remark but it's worth bringing up: My aunt works directly (and I means DI-RECT-LY) under our Federal Minster of Finance so she's privy to some serious shit and she informed me a while back that it's more or less general consensus amongst all of the Federal Gov't involved in the Martin case that while Brenda herself may not have been guilty of the crimes she was accused of she sure as shit was involved in the scam that lead to her getting locked up.

Now that Edwin's brought it up, who gives the best performances on the show? Off the top of my head I'd go with Sylar and Noah.

I hope TFN carries the semi's and finals live like they did last year, I tuned in and had a great time. -
Dinner was all kinds of yum. Took chicken strips and coated them in Tex-Mex seasoning, pan fried those suckers up then laid 'em on a bed of Spanish rice and drizzled nacho cheese sauce all over the ma'fucka. Even better is that I have leftovers.
