  1. NOBODY. we're living in horrible times. the last legendary artist we can look back to is cobain. deal with it.
  2. breaking up mnm is like wcw breaking up the blondes. they were the best tag team the wwe has had in years. so silly.
  3. ya, i guess so.
  4. i thought the mere fact that you called common, one who may seem relatively modest in comparison to his peers, egomaniacal to have a deeper meaning. but i understand.
  5. you remember more about me than myself. get a more constructive hobby. the rangers thing was wrong. keep in mind that jagr was hurt. that crippled them. but new jersey HAS no offense.
  6. the cover seems to indicate as much, musically i don't get that. if a rapper does something different, does it automatically make them an egomaniac? edit: ill agree on the last two tracks of the album. ok, thats it.
  7. you know diddly
  8. the oilers are a better team than anyone is giving them credit for. a buffalo/edmonton finals would be amazing. a buffalo/carolina semi-finals is amazing. for real hockey fans these semi-finals will be greta. for casual fans, they'll be the pits.
  9. i wouldn't argue that point much, either. though i do stand by my enjoyment of that album. there was a sense of adverturism that common attempted that the majority of his bretheren wouldn't dream of. same with phrenology. another great album from a bland rap group. sure, they use live instrumentalism, but for the most part, they don't offer me anything. i'd rather have a dr. dre production that an instrumental rap troupe. rap should be fun. i think, at least.
  10. i'd have sex with both.
  11. i agree about the grey album. it sorta spawned a hideous rash of horrible mash-ups, though. its a very clever combination, where anyone with any discernable taste in music can absolutely jam to two of the best albums around. and i can't even comment on the gorrilaz. i foolishly purchased their first album several years ago & hated it. i think albarn sorta fits into the same category as yorke where the voice usually disqualifies whatever is happening musically. barkley may die a quick death. but upon the first listen, its totally different then what i had anticipated. this has been hyped for some time (so i hear) but i am out of the loop with most anything, so i am oblivious to any hype.
  12. oh, come on. so sorry if mos def is the most boring rapper in history.
  13. whats danger mouse's best work?
  14. i've come to the conclusion that "alternative rap" or "underground rap" or "conscious rap" is usually really boring. and not all that enjoyable. like mos def? come on. thats the blandest rapper EVER.
  15. i loved late registration. unfortunately my love becomes blinded by hearing his singles all.of.the.time. he's never made a great music video, either. actually, they've all been horrible. so whenever i see his songs on a music station it becomes tainted by thoughts of pamela anderson & anna nicole smith. i'm weird, sorry. that gold digger song also needs to die.
  16. this is correct. i had trouble with danger doom & such. all of these musical marriages are getting weak. but this one had a purpose. it was different. both stepped out of their comfort zone with this one. the name is for 15 year old skaterpunks. so that part is not genius. whenever i think of the word "gnarly" i think of blink 182. which is bad. though i did enjoy their self titled album. ha.
  17. wrong & wrong. nice try, though.
  18. you want me so bad.
  19. this one was too easy
  20. for someone who has me on ignore, she's sure perceptive of what i do. she immedietly changed her avatar after this. and clearly this has affected her. which is good.
  21. funny guy...
  22. he meant the self title im sure, foo.
  23. yes it is. trust me, please. not the rest who know nothing about anything.
  24. do you perhaps read pitchforkmedia?
