...and I fucking predicted the Cardinals to win. Don't ask me why. 41-6 Browns.
-
...and ANOTHER turnover by the Ravens.
-
It was awesome to hear the announcers laugh at how blatant McAllister's interference was.

From what I've seen, Redman holds my vote.

Well, it wasn't the WWE turning him face; it was the crowds who were finally "getting" his character. I THINK that the original plans had heel Brock going all the way to Mania with the title, with face Angle knocking him off.
-
It still did more harm than good to have the Big Show of all people beating Brock for the title after putting Brock over anyone who got in his way. Original XIX plan: Heel Brock (champ) v. Face Angle. With Lesnar's injury: Face Brock v. Heel Angle (champ). Big Show was a transitional champion to Angle the WHOLE WAY. Giving anyone else the "transitional champ" role would've sucked the air out of their character (Benoit or Edge).

Marshall Faulk with a HUGE 50+ yard run on 4th and 1. Holt catches a touchdown two plays after. 14-10 Bears in the 3rd.

It's great to see the Dolphins game while the Chiefs are in danger of losing their undefeated record. All of the Dolphin fans and old players/coaches for the '72 team (Shula and a few others seen in the skybox) are waiting to see updated results on the game.

To elaborate on what Barron said, Hogan made the demand to Vince that he win the return match at Survivor Series in MSG...for the title. I'm assuming that Vince promised a return match to Hogan for the job in August, yet he rescinded on his offer.

Mare with a 53-yarder. 6-3 Miami over the Ravens.

Ray Lewis is the fucking man. One of the Dolphins TE's catches him off-guard on a Ricky Williams run, knocking Lewis to the ground. With Williams literally FIFTEEN YARDS to his right (and a few yards past him), he chases Ricky down and PLANTS him in the ground with a sick leaping tackle.

So you're not a Kurt Angle fan? I don't know where this is gonig to lead, but yes I am. I Watch Smackdown mainly to see Angle, Benoit and a good Cruiserweight match. If none of the above, then I probably will either skip it or just watch briefly without paying attention. If you shut out a wrestler like you did Lesnar, you would've been doing the same thing for Kurt Angle in his first few months as a WWF worker. Most of his early work was heavily overrated and full of feuds with unmotivated slugs, save for his Wrestlemania 2000 triple-threat with the Canadian Chris Twins. That's why I made the statement that your description of Brock being "very mediocre" is a bad judgment, based on his work from TWELVE MONTHS AGO.

So you're not a Kurt Angle fan?

How can you make a fair judgment, if you're not a regular viewer of Smackdown, nor count his house show or overseas matches? That leaves only a few PPV matches. TBS, at that point in time (November 2002) had the conditioning of a beached whale. They only went four minutes, because that's all Show COULD PHYSICALLY GO. Same thing for the Rumble. ***1/2+ matches in consecutive PPV's after that. April: Cena buckled under the pressure of a PPV title match; most of the blame were put squarely on his shoulders, resulting in his de-push. May: Gimmick match. July: ***1/2 match. August: ***1/2+ match. October: Haven't seen the match, but most of the posters here liked it.

Yes. At Cleveland.

I wouldn't say zero, but outside his matches vs. Angle, Rock and Taker.....has Brock had any really good matches with anyone? His matches with Show were already mentioned by Barron. There was a few he had with both Benjamin and Haas on the early shows in 2003. Don't know if you count house show matches, but there's another bunch he's had with Benoit and Eddie. Additionally, the triple threat he had with Rock & HHH at the Global Warning tour in Australia was definitely a great encounter. Not to mention, his Rebellion match-up with Edge.

All of Animal/Crush's tag matches - all credit to Graham's website...

Bulger throws an INT. Chandler throws an INT on the ensuing play. Sadly, it's this or the Dolphins/Ravens game.
-
He makes a MUCH better heel.

Considering that Hunter sabotaged Brock's title reign before he could get off the ground...

Seattle didn't have a show in 2000 OR 2001. 07.01.01 was in Spokane (the Sunday show that matches up with your description). 07.02.01 was in Tacoma (the RAW with Booker/Bagwell). 07.03.01 was in Tacoma as well (the Smackdown with Kidman winning the CW title from Helms).

I put this together a while ago, so any new DVD's that have come out post-June are still only listed W/O extras.

I was referring to if Vince would do the right thing here, going ahead with the plan to use Kane's interference (and NOT Stephanie's) to defeat Taker.
-
I was dead-set in thinking that Kane's career was DOA, after he unmasked*. I will gladly admit I was wrong about Glen Jacobs lacking the charisma to pull off his new gimmick . ... ... ...before you disagree with me, let's see how Kane is booked tonight. This is basically McMahon's last chance to make Kane a dominant force.
