  1. ::pats his WWE/WWF DVD Collection:: ::pats his WWF and WCW masters:: I didn't spend TOO much.
  2. If the stable idea was proposed around the time Evolution got off the ground, I can understand why it was canned. Promotions (and fans) have a hard time keeping up with all of these stables; it's better to isolate one dominant stable and run with them.
  3. Angle/Lesnar? Angle will remain champ, but I highly doubt it will have a clean finish in any fashion. Elimination Chamber? Y2J and Goldberg are the only two that can conceivably knock off HHH...yet there's no viable worker that Y2J can defeat in the last fall (Nash? No. HHH? No. Goldberg? Maybe.)
  4. Good job with the Crossface, guys - I'm definitely looking forward to this season. Predictions AFC EAST ------------- Miami Buffalo New England New York Jets NFC EAST ------------- Philadelphia New York Giants Washington Dallas
  5. I'm sure the feeling is mutual for the WWE.

    The Book.

    1. Stephanie over Gerwitz, for reasons already stated. 2. RAW: Ace, Patterson SMACKDOWN: Heyman, ? Exactly, but it's the strengths of Ace that RAW needs MUCH more desperately than the Smackdown brand does right now. Smackdown already has everything needed to succeed (exceptional characters, angles and wrestling). The brand simply needs "quality control" to weed out the bad stuff before it happens.
  7. Bingo. I assumed that HBK would never step into the ring again at that time. Before that, though, it was definitely the Radicalz turning against Mick Foley.
  8. While Rock was on Helldorado and campaigning for Fuck Goldberg, a report surfaced that he bought the rights to the character name, which is why Vince would wind up in the credits. That report also said that The Rock was set to retire after Wrestlemania XIX, and concentrate full-time on his acting career. Most of the TSM'ers took that interview with a grain of salt; especially when it was a "Guest Column" on 1Bob, complete with outdated pictures that didn't match the story.
  9. I doubt the man is laughing all the way to the bank, though. IIRC, he didn't suffer any permanent damage. Too bad this wasn't AFTER the first Wrestlemania -Belzer could've retired early.
  10. Jesse Ventura won that lawsuit with the WWF over video royalties in the early 1990's. Vince was never given a chance back to embarrass Jesse, seemingly since Ventura's status has risen quickly in the last decade. I'm sure Vince doesn't cry over the Rock's frequent departures from the ring; Vince is automatically given a "Executive Producer" credit in every film that the Rock stars in, earning him a good cut of money.
  11. I'm sure that's how the DVD is, whether it's Koch or directly from WWE Home Video. The DVD version of the transfer has this weird "bleeding static" at the beginning of each "ACTION!" chapter opening. It bothered me when I first bought my copy (WWE Home Video distribute), but I came to find that the DVD was transferred in this way.
  12. Complaint #1 - Coachman lacks the "energy" to be the PBP guy. His emotions don't seem to alter when something surprising occurs (Shane's reappearance, Kane's destruction of the entire RAW roster, etc.) His voice rarely raises above the usual "Coach"- voice. On that note, when he reprimands a heel for his gruesome actions, I REALLY don't feel the need to support Coachman (something that JR does extremely well). It's simply "Oh...well Coach hates him - that sucks, I guess." Then again, he's been horrible at providing color commentary too, so I think it's safe to say...WE NEED JR BACK.
  13. Spades.
  14. It's scary to see what they did with Kane over SIX WEEKS of storylines - the guy was lifted from "permanent mid-carder" to "main-eventer/ best current character". Imagine if they put this same effort into ANYONE ELSE.
  15. There's more of the story to be told between Vince and Kane. Vince wouldn't leave an angle up in the air like that...::rethinks last sentence:....any angle that involves himself, at least. Vince will either recruit Kane, or tie up the storyline between him and Shane (especially if the stipulation of RAW ownership will be decided at the Summerslam PPV).
  16. If considering by looks, Nash stands to lose ALOT more by cutting the locks. Jericho will look pretty slick after this loss.
  17. I get to hit 2,000 again. I'm actually fine where I am. I'm just perplexed that I made 400+ posts since June.
