8-5? That line on a whole must've sucked.

Yet, to get Shaq, they had to trade away 35.0 points, 21.4 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 2.83 steals and 1.54 blocks PER GAME in Odom, Grant and Butler. This is also not taking into account the loss of Rafer Alston to free agency. O'Neal's presence and leadership on the court led to an already improving Wade, three re-emerging veterans (Laettner, Mourning and Jones), but most importantly, the ability for the roleplayers (Haslem, Dooling and Damon Jones) to step in and provide the depth that people questioned going into the season. Shaq should've won the MVP award, but that's for another thread.

Hogan. No ifs, ands or buts. His heel turn is the epitome of a career revival.

It's his favorite match of all-time. He talks about it in the main program.
-
Nope. It was a exclusive product to the franchise chain of Sam Goody, Musicland and Suncoast.

That was Drew, who held out from the Pirates for the team he wanted to play for, the Cardinals. The first case doesn't ring a bell.

Jannero Pargo hitting those threes last week in Game Five. Rex Chapman's three in the 96-97 Suns-Sonics division series, to send Game Four to overtime. Billups and his halfcourt shot last year against the Pacers to send THAT to overtime. nogoodnick, IKCoolJew and I went crazy after that shot, especially since we predicted it would go in as he hoisted it up.

J.J. Stokes. Although he has had a decent career, I was thinking of a SFO career along the lines of what Owens did alongside of him. Brandon Knight. David Terrell. Kurt Thomas. Given his final season in college, I'd say he has been a bit disappointing.

I was out of the loop for a bit. Had to go back to Hawai'i for the past two months, but now with a steady flow of cash and a return to a cable modem, I'll be back full-time (sadly) on TSM and Xbox Live on Tuesday. ...and yeah, I'm pretty good, I think.

He finished that with "since Benoit jumped ship...just over a year ago, to RAW". I think the announcing team just realized their own mistake, since Trips beat him only TWO DAYS after he jumped from WCW. As for the match itself, to agree with Sass, the ending would've benefitted without the booking crutch of Flair being out there. The low-blow -> pedigree transition works in this situation, or maybe even a sledgehammer appearance, considering that they built the gimmick up last week. The latter idea works soooo well with the idea that HHH has to revert to the one thing that he can trust, especially when Flair and Batista have a student-teacher storyline going back to the fall of 2002 - which is coincidentally the last time that Hunter used the sledgehammer for a significant amount of time.

Is the meth problem really that bad in Indiana? I thought that was only limited to the west coast, really. If by "west coast" you meant 'Oregon', I'd certainly agree with you.

The Richmond Braves select second basemen Charlie Gehringer. Cena's Writer, Verne, Brian to continue the round.

I went ahead and exchanged Pedro Feliz with Chris Burke, the Astros' rookie second baseman. Thanks, al - there went my lone complaint. On a serious note, Burke was the player I had intended on drafting (either Burke or Cuddyer, actually), so everything worked out. Thank you.

It's supposedly in the lobby of Titan, according to a few writers who have toured the building during an interview with Vince.

Even if I had the foresight to write up a list of 50 people I had wanted, the league drafted SEVEN rounds tonight (126 players), where all of the players I had coveted were taken in the first three or four rounds. Last night, Al was worried about the non-chat teams being screwed out of good picks (as well as being tired of assigning players), so he cut the draft off at 3 rounds. Should we have done so many rounds tonight, especially when the teams that couldn't make it were screwed even with a list? EDIT: I just don't get why I was assigned Hillenbrand and Feliz, two platoon players, when my keepers already have that position filled.
-
Wow, what rankings were used for the teams that couldn't make it and didn't submit rankings? I received a third 1B and a third 3B (both who will platoon), but no 2B? Damned flu.

I'll just continue with MM's list... Seinfeld: - Mr. Bookman running down Jerry after each comeback. - Jerry and Newman calling a truce to get Newman to Hawai'i. - funny Jerry ---> dark and disturbed Jerry. - 'The Race', complete with the Superman theme music. - The scene that gets me EVERY time...."Ed-UAR-do....(folds napkin)....Co-RO-chio!" (waves napkin like a matador) 24 (obvious spoilers): Season One: - Jack subduing Mason with the tranqulizer dart. - Janet York's death. - Lou Diamond Phillips. - Tony killing Drazen's assassin at the Bauer house. - Jack watching the video which revealed that Nina killed Jamey (and then the frame where she looks directly at the security camera, which spooked the hell out of me). - Jack's spree at the pier. Season Two: - Mason appearing in the cabin of the aircraft. - 'SHOOT HIM AGAIN'. - Reza's death. - Jack's spree at the L.A. Coliseum. I can also do this all day with NewsRadio and Chappelle's Show.
