Not ALL of the South, mind you, but if you have a thick accent, I'd stay away from the following states: Mississippi Alabama All of Louisiana except New Orleans Southeast North Carolina (except Wilmington) The Florida Panhandle. Perhaps Arkansas. The reason I say to stay away is, of course, you will be ridiculed by the men and stalked by butter-faced women with a preternatural instinct to mate with fresh DNA.
