Is it just me or does Hardy look totally different than he did in TNA? He barely even looks like the same person.

I like Chris Masters. Really I do. Oh no, now he gets to job again. I really appreciate that Masters is still out there doing his best even though the WWE is jobbing him to everybody and their cousin now. He's a trooper. The guy does have a lot of charisma and has come a long long way from his nose-smashing debut.

Three was zero wrestling. Matt went for two takedowns I think. Neither of them were all that close, Matt never had control of a leg. GSP was able to spin out of both in a couple of seconds. GSP had good TD defense and his striking was light years ahead. Matt's striking is just awful. If it is improved from where it was before I shudder because it is just absolutely awful. Awful kicks, awful defense, average at best punching. He holds his hands so far apart, maybe good against wild swings but awful against precision punching.

How about Booker T and Batista getting into a fight at a commercial shoot? I'm still not sure if that is a worked shoot or a shoot that looked worked. For some reason I bought it when Scott Steiner said he had a messed up back and had to retire. I've always hated works involving crippling injuries, it seems in poor taste. Some guys really do suffer from career ending injuries, it doesn't seem like the kind of thing to make light of.

Didn't Steve "Psycho" Lyons get in trouble for saying Shawn Green was lame for skipping a game due to some religious stuff? He must practice at least occasionally. (At least that one game, I believe it was Yom Kippur IIRC)

Like my friend (who goes to clubs a lot) says, if you don't want to be offended by a stand-up comedian don't go. It went over very poorly with the crowd especially as it dragged on, but it was just a poor decision. It wasn't a "slip up", obviously he thought it would be shocking and at least marginally funny, and parts of it *were* funny. Obviously he wasn't 100% serious, would a 100% serious person really say "that's what happens when you interrupt a white man?" And the crowd did laugh at the initial joke, he just took it too far. It happens. Trying to dissect whether or not he is racist is foolish. It is stand-up, these things happen.
-
Poor attempt at shock humor but it really wasn't offensive. A lot of people laughed at the first line. and this was pretty funny: "Well that's what happens when you interrupt a white man!" Obviously he was not 100% serious. This is nothing like Mel Gibson. Being offensive and going for shock value is something comedians do. It was bad comedy and nothing more. Who cares?

Pujols obviously deserved to win. Then again, when Bonds was at his peak a few years ago some people were saying that Pujols was the best hitter in baseball, which was just absurd. People get impressed by a new guy that goes way over expectation. Pujols just did what he does every year. A lot of sabremetric stats are very dumb and don't stand up to rigorous analysis, but that is a different issue. By looking at basic stats Pujols was still clearly better.

Thank you Cowboys, for ending the unbeaten talk. Indy was the worst 9-0 team in history, squeaking out win over win. They could easily be 6-3 or worse. They were who we thought they were! Or something...
-
Squib kicks are so damn stupid...why willingly give up 20+ yards of field position exactly? Edit: Someone needs to remind Vanderjagt that he's on the Cowboys now. What is it with the Cowboys and kickers?
-
This is a wacky Indy/Dallas game, each team is just beating itself into a pulp.
-
Jesus McNabb torn ACL. Edit: Cowboys kickers just automatically suck apparently.
-
Please god let the Cowboys win.

You don't have to make huge arm movements to play the games, you can just flick your wrist. Although it does feel more natural to make the arm movements.

Because Favre is a sentimental favorite and people believe that Favre has some magical powers that will allow him to get out of a 28-0 hole that he helped create by throwing terrible passes all day. And why shouldn't they believe that? The media repeats that every single week. "Down late in a game you couldn't ask for any better than Favre..." etc etc. Really Favre is not bad, the problem is he is terrible compared to his overhyped reputation. As a quaterback he's in the top 30-40% of the league. At this point he certainly is not elite. (Except in the way the Eagles are elite)
-
They won, last play was a hail mary to the end zone, ball got batted around about 3 times before finally landing out of bounds.
-
Jesus that was almost an amazing finish to the Browns game.
-
And Testaverde is in for the Pats - to take 3 kneeldowns lol. Way to get your reps in!
-
The Eagles have already been written off, they can't beat anybody other than jobbers even with McNabb. What they really need is a new coach and a new gameplan. It can't just be McNabb throwing to mediocre receivers over and over again. By the way what happened to Larry "biggest fantasy bust ever" Johnson? Is he officially no longer even close to the biggest fantasy bust ever?

I actually have no idea how to spell Farve. Farvre? Who knows. Whatever his name is he sucks, and he has for a while. Maybe not sucks but average. He is a gamer and has a great attitude, but the skills just aren't there anymore and they haven't been for a while.

Wii Tennis is really fun, I mean it is simple and not a real tennis game but the basics are there. You can do an overhand smash, a lob, forehand and backhand, etc, all with hand motions. It also seems like you can put a lot of slice and spin on the ball, although I'm not sure how exactly. Basically if you swing early vs. swing late you control the general direction, and you can swing up vs down for a lob vs a downward biting shot. You can also hit it softer and harder to some degree it seems. It's not super deep, you only control the racket and not the guys. There is one court, no simulation mode, etc. Wii Sports is really meant just to introduce people to the controls. But I can see how a full-featured Tennis game would absolutely rock. A tennis game that plays similarly but is a full game would have to be the best tennis game ever by a large margin. Sega, make us a Virtua Tennis!

Am I the only person in the country who realizes that Farve hasn't been good in 5 years?
-
You guys should here the blowjob they are giving Farve even though he has totally sucked this game.
-
Green Bay strategy - throw a poor deep pass to a well-covered guy.

Wii Sports Tennis is ridiculously fun.
