  1. All I remember about this is that Urkel ended up being the voice of Sonic.
  2. She's the Roger Clemens of messageboarding.
  3. No duplicates Come on man. Idreenk Razmelq isn't even being considered?
  4. about this whole chat thing, the year 2005 called. Been there, done that.
  5. Fongus Bellpop Idreenk Razmelq
  6. How can you say San Diego isn't a sports town? They had the Chicken! They also had the second worst uniforms in major league history, only being beaten by the "We Are Family" era Pirates unis.
  7. Alas I'm not a huge NBA historian as well. Still, that's almost 30 years without anything.
  8. We always have Cleveland at number 1 because their last world title came in 1948 yet they've had sports teams there since the late 19th century. Indians winning it in 1948 with the Browns winning nothing and Cavs winning nothing made them automatic firsts. Seattle came in at number 2 because they've literally won nothing. No World Series for the Mariners, no Super Bowl victories for the Seahawks and the Gary Peyton/Shawn Kemp led Supersonics made it to one NBA Finals and when they did Michael Jordan started his second of the two Threepeats. If we do count two sport cities then San Diego has been worse off than Buffalo. Chargers and Padres have made their respective championship game/series once in the past 20 years and got totally trampled by the opposition in each case.
  9. Hockey isn't a major sport...College Football is~! Well they have to have at least 3 out of the 4 then. I don't follow hockey so I honestly can't tell you which teams play where through the whole league.
  10. we usually only count cities that have all 4 major sports franchises. We lump Green Bay with Milwaukee obviously and the New England Patriots are basically Boston based. You can't count Buffalo really because the Knicks, Yankees, and Mets can't be claimed by Buffalo.
  11. every couple of years or so me and Slayer have a conversation on which city's fans are due the most in terms of a sports Championship. Cleveland always manages to earn the top spot in that discussion. Seattle is up there too but they haven't had major sports franchises as long as Cleveland.
  12. Dodgers won their last World Series in 88 and have been to the playoffs 4 times since Mets won their last World Series in 86 and have been to the playoffs 4 times since as well The Brewers lost their only World Series experience in 1982 and haven't been back to the playoffs since. I don't see how either the Mets or Dodgers are due more than the Brewers
  13. Besides the obvious large amount of Red Sox, Yankees, and Braves (somehow they still remain strong up here) hats I see around here there are for whatever reason alot of Oakland A's hat being worn as well. For no specific reason at all the A's and Philli Eagles have some sort of fan base around MA that I just can't understand.
  14. how does Clemens pitching for the Yankees help the Astros?
  15. Lord of War was cool because of all the different weapons and it being based on true events, but otherwise I found the film to be underwhelming.
  16. I used that strategy the year that the Tigers just flat out sucked. It was a pain in the ass to do all year and not worth the effort.
  17. I ate garbage today. Taco Bell and pizza. To ensure that I don't gain any weight I made sure to walk around aimlessly for 2miles, did 50 military crunches and then 50 oblique-twist crunches. That along with drinking a ton of water should keep me at the weight I started around today (193lbs), there just won't be any toning. Tommorow will be low carb and weight lifting which should completely eliminate today's dietary mistakes.
  18. "Can I be traded to the Knicks so I can fight for playing time with Eddie Curry?"
  19. god knows Dampier would have to be part of that deal. He and Shaq wouldn't be able to co-exist.
  20. I can't believe that I picked him up last night on my fantasy team to help my pitching woes. Furthermore I can't believe it actually paid off. Between Daisuke, John Maine, Marquis, and the Dodgers closer I ended up with 4 er over 24IP tonight. My two weaknesses on pitching have been ERA and WHIP so tonight really helped out.
  21. I'm not ashamed to admit that I liked the X-Factor stable. I even liked their entrance music. Fuck all the haters out there.
  22. I was never a huge fan of Pepsi's brand (Mug) or A&W, not to mention when I drank soda it was always Coca Cola and their products (with a brief period of Mountain Dew and nothing else) so I guess it only makes sense I enjoyed Barq's as they're produced by the Coca Cola company.
  23. oh, and this happened the other day when the Red Sox were in Minn. Its just plain weird http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1wy7h_red-sox-love
  24. I'm going to rent The Show for PS2 since I'm probably not going to spring for a 360 until the $100 price drop later this year. If it sucks then I only have Leena to blame for hyping it up.
  25. loved rootbeer as a kid (especially Barq's) but I just can't drink it now.
