  1. Tagliabue and France (Sr. and Jr.) are the only commish's or head of operations to improve or keep their industry steady or pushed it to another level. Bettman, Selig and Stern are all failures because their respective sports have have multiple problems, some that they may never recover from. The new commish of NFL will have alot to follow up on as Tagliabue and Rozelle are impossible to live up to.
  2. So, instead of using MnM against Kendrick/London or Mexi-Cools, in what would be a solid hot opener that wouldn't suck they decide they need to find time for TWO women's matches? Mickie/Trish, is fine. I have no problem with that, the storyline while unoriginal has at least made sense. Torrie/Candice isn't even Raw-worthy.
  3. Guess what? The FIRST EVER BLACK DRIVER IN 20 YEARS!!!! finished an incredible 38th place out of 43. Whatta trail-blazer.
  4. Am I the only one who was thinking "Why does Hogan just watch whatever footage VH1 tapes of the night?". Brooke was taped and mic'd, thinking Hulk wasn't going to be there. If she really wanted independence, she would have lost the mic and camera. Most of the show is scripted, in terms of the circumstances and situations. However, I believe that is 100% authentic Knobbs.
  5. I don't have a clue, but I'm enjoying it. Its not that its bad, its just that you would hope a Wrestlemania storyline would have some purpose. Even if its because Sharmell spent too much time in the makeup chair. Its fun and all to see Boogey, but at some point they should try and explain his motivations, especially if they're the top. And I disagree about The Pirate. Boogey works in a way because he's a raving lunatic, and you can use that to explain anything really. But the Pirate just makes the show look like a giant costume party They made a half-assed attempt to explain that it was because Burchill found out that his great-great grandfather was an actual pirate. At least there is that much background to it. I guess the fact he retains his british accent is supposed to be the funny part. The character seems to be stolen, not from POTC but rather the lame Ben Stiller movie Dodgeball, which involved a wanna-be pirate similar to Burchill.
  6. Thats how it came across to me. I felt like there was too much down time in this episode, overly dramatic but I understand the situation warrants it. The whole Finnerty thing is just Tony dreaming in and out of conciousness with alot of symbolism to the current time. The whole scene in the hospital during the dream I think is just symbolism on being confused/lost and when his head clears and he finds Finnerty, I would imagine that will be when he gets out of the coma. Either that or is there a slim chance that is a flashback of sorts to the first time he cheated or had thoughts of and/or some significant events in his life that turned him into the Tony we all know? I cant remember what Tony did before he got "in" with the family. Maybe what he was going to this conference for, was it. He was going to some military convention, which makes sense because he went to military school.

    Wrestlemania

I really don't care about the $ aspect, that never bothers me. It's just a matter if I want to devote 4 hours of my time that I know will suck, and if there is a miracle and there is something good, I can get the dvd for 20 bucks in less then a month.
  8. Overall, this was a pretty good show even with the confusing and somewhat unclear side-story of the alternate Tony Soprano/Kevin Finnerty world (I'm guessing the point was to say, no matter what road Tony took in life, he was heading to trouble anyways). I'm going to enjoy the Vito/Paulie stuff, AJ growing up and going nuts is appealing. Falco, was probably at her best tonight
  9. That, was a strange start to the show. Paulie and Vito, fighting to take AJ home was great. Really, strange episode...and that hole in his stomach? eek. Vito, is owning this episode. AJ, is an even bigger tool then ever. Chris bumping Paulie with the stereo? awesome. What is wrong with AJ? I called it a week ago, he will off himself by the end of the season...and the possibility of him going after Junior and failing school? I have a strong feeling, the season will heavily involve AJ.
  10. Zona, winning would have been HUGE in some of my pools. Great, blah BC/Nova.
  11. A UCONN loss, would be hilarious. UCONN losing would officially kill the national bracket but at this point, who really cares.
  12. I know CUSA isn't a power conference but some people might argue that Memphis doesn't really count as a mid-major.
  13. No pressure against Duke on Senior night when you are nothing but a rookie team, you don't know the significance of the rivalry just yet. Playing in the NCAA tournament against an unfamilar team brings out pressure and nerves.
  14. Yes, GMU is going to drop the defending champs. Well, maybe not just yet.
  15. CBS, insists that i care about UK/Conn which has 8:40 to go. Also, Bucknell and NWST are getting raped, especially NWST.
  16. Meanwhile, WVU is crushing NWST.
  17. G. Mason, another MM could oust another power school.
  18. Could you imagine if Bucknell upsets Memphis and gives us a 9/13 game between 2 MM's?
  19. Where is Bradley, anyways? They haven't mentioned it yet, today. I think
  20. Can we offically stop saying mid-majors can't play the major schools? I want Bradley/Wichita in the title game just to see that moron Packer eat crow.
  21. Just curious did you go to high school with one of the Pitt guys who's a real douche? No, I just picked Pitt to lose second round in a majority of my pools. It's all a $ thing, that and I just dont like the city of Pittsburgh either.
  22. Yeah, Pitt won't win this game. Sure, it's only 7 pts with 2:40 to go, but you can just feel that Bradley keeps it. PITT losing would put a smile on my face for multiple reasons.
  23. It should have at least gotten smackdown numbers, seeing as friday nights and saturday nights aren't that much different. They can blame the tournament, which is getting higher then usual ratings but ultimately, it's just another sign that will be ignored by the company. They were aware the NCAA tournament was on last night, that was their fall-back excuse. If there was a miracle they could say "see,we're that popular" and when it got the rating it did "Well, we had to compete against the tournament".
