I would think that if Lashley was around he would probably be in Umaga's spot vs. Batista. I'm sure Vince would love HOSS vs. HOSS match. Infact, I'd actually be intrigued by it too. Would remind me of Lesnar vs. Goldberg.

Whoops, my mistake. Just getting use to the new format of the board. Not use to all these threads.

1. Bret Hart. All his matches as a single wrestler had that big match feel to it. Until someone shatters Hart's record of 12 straight Wrestlemania's I consider him Mr. Wrestlemania. 2. Owen Hart. I can agree with the Austin pick, but Austin already won the Royal Rumble, already had world title shots. Owen defeating Bret made him. Won the King of the Ring, got a world title shot at Summerslam and was established. Before that win, Owen was just seen as Bret's brother, beating him made him a threat. 3. Austin vs. Rock Mania 17/Rock vs. Hogan X-8. They were built right and were huge. 4. The only entrance that stands out is Shawn Michaels in 1996. It doesn't really add to the match, with the exception of the pop they get when they enter. That pop for Austin in 2001 was awesome. 5. Austin. Again, that 2001 entrance, probably my favorite due to the crowd giving him probably the biggest pop of his career.

Give it to someone who they are developing as the next big star. I say make the ECW title the NEW IC title of the 80's and 90's.

Predictions: Winners Team Playboy Finley Kane wins Battle Royal wins ECW title Punk wins MITB Michaels Batista HHH Mayweather Undertaker Man, I can't believe all my predictions are faces.

So, anyone think Rock and Cena will have a confrontation or showdown tonight? At least The Rock gives Cena a piece of his mind after getting trashed a few weeks ago by him?
-
As the old formula goes, we'll see whoever loses tonight if they indeed win at Wrestlemania.
-
According to a poster on Keith's blog of doom: I wonder if Rock personally picked these matches. That would probably be the only reason BENOIT is back on DVD.
-
I find it funny that ECW is still in it's own little world. I'm surprised they didn't mention Punk lost last night.
-
But according to wwe.com WCW Title History section: What gives? So WWE is once again erasing history and it's always been the WCW title Jericho unified them?
-
Well, there goes my hope of Punk winning MITB.
-
So I wonder how Cuban is gonna feel representing the Mavericks at the Draft Lottery. Seriously, this team has had some bad luck over the last few seasons. Who can realisitcally pick up the slack without Dirk?
-
I'm surprised Wrestlemania X is ranked that low. I thought that show was universally loved?
-
Besides me, I don't know, but does everyone think this class is being overshadowed by The Rock's return? This could really turn out to be a one man show. Unless of course, HHH is there and has a say. It would be funny to see HHH slide in a jab at Rock while he's doing the Flair induction speech.
-
All I hope is that CM Punk takes the exploder, I believe that's Benjamin's finishing move? or the playmaker tonight. At least this will give me the SLIGHT hope he wins MITB.

Who made the MOST MONEY overall, not just contract wise during WCW's lucrative run from about 96-99? Was it really Bret because of his contract mostly? Hall or Nash due to the nWo and the merchandise sales? Ditto for Hogan? Goldberg during his streak? Sting even though he did jack?
-
Yes and No. Yes, storyline wise he needs to win it. Over the last 5 years he has won exactly ZERO title matches. How many times can he continue to be a #1 contender when he chokes worse than Lex Luger? Whether it was the WHC or the WWE title, he needs to win one to at least make him credible as a challenger. No because he would be a part time champion and I don't know if that is needed right now. Plus how long could he reasonably carry the title at this point in his career with a brutal knee?
-
It'll be interesting to see how they pull off this 2 vs. the whole Raw roster deal.
-
I wonder if either The Rock will even do the sit down interview/documentary part, I hope they get him to do it during the Wrestlemania weekend. Secondly, I wonder if they'll even get other guys to comment on him. I really want to hear what HHH says about him. I'm sure Jericho, RVD, AUSTIN, Foley, Taker and others must also have a say, if any on this DVD.
-
So where does Hardy go from here? He won't be back until around Judgment Day. Too late to do something with him? Perhaps he'll get a title shot at Vengence?
-
Jericho doesn't really hate Jeff Hardy. You see, what they are doing on television is...nevermind, I don't want to ruin your breakfast. I think he was referencing the fact that HHH wanted to push Hardy over Jericho when Jericho returned with the whole Save Us thing late last year. Stephanie was the one who pushed hard to get Jericho back and the whole thing was buried in favor in Hardy. So in some ways, they might feel justified today. If that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jericho now drop the IC title, to Kennedy perhaps and then win MITB. Then I'd like to see him jump to Smackdown to feud with Taker/Edge, whoever is the champion after Mania.
-
I would've prefered a heel winning the IC title instead of Jericho. Possibly Kennedy would've worked. So now we got 8 time IC Champion Jericho. I guess mid-card is in the future for Jericho. You HAVE SAVE_US.222!

Start eating them damn hats!

Raptors are stinking up the joint lately. Also, TJ Ford may be developing some sort of problem. Perhaps he might be put on the market in the summer? Any takers?

Don't know if this means anything but on the wwe.com title histories section, they added the cruiserweight title to the defunct group, joining the legendary European title and the prestigious Hardcore title. Upon closer inspection, it's also gone as a displayed title. I guess it is official, WWE Cruiserweight title is GONE!
