  3. If they really want everyone they need to put in UMK3 Classic Sub-Zero and explain who that was. I doubt they will, I doubt they even remember. I'm am not kidding when I write this. Classic Sub Zero was Noob Saibot. It says it in Sub Zero's ending in MK:D. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noob_Saibot
  4. I made like 60 CAW for WWF Attitude. I still play it on occasion. Remember the Road to Wrestlemania in WM 2000. I could never win the Rumble after going through season mode. I created DDP and he made it to number 29 and then there was Jeff Jarrett. I charged my Attitude bar and tried Diamond Cutting him. He kept avoiding me. Finally he punched me and I countered with the Cutter and I eliminated Jarrett. At the end of the season, I did the same thing to HBK (or was it Taker) in cage and won the game. I beat the Marvel vs. Capcom games (X-Men vs. SF, etc) on one quarter. Not that impressive. However I did beat Killer Instinct 2 and Tekken Tag on one quarter and I think that's a little more impressive.
  5. beating Super Mario World with my friends - I was stuck at Bowser for a couple of days/weeks/ can't remember. My friends came over and I finally beat it. I couldn't beat Bowser cause I wasn't holding up while throwing the mecha-koopas Bowser threw. Also beating the Star Road way later on was huge. Beating Final Fantasy VII - I spent sixty hours on my first game and i didn't beat it. I had no real concept of materia so I pretty much wasted a lot time. After reading a strategy guide, I was go to go. I beat Final Fantasy on a twenty hour save. Losing at Street Fighter II Turbo - I sucked at Street Fighter II. I think I could do the charge moves but not the fireball/dragon punch etc. My friend had party and his cousin came over. He killed me and everyone at the party. It's all about the dragon punch I guess. I was on vacation reading a Gamepro, when I had a revelation. I wasn't reading about Street Fighter but maybe God showed me the way. You roll your thumb down towards. Now I job on Xbox Live. Winning at Mortal Kombat II - This one is special. The school I was at had a Skate-a-Thon fundraiser. I hated skating but they had an arcade there and there was MKII. Some kids at my school saw me heading towards it and they thought I was new at it. So I was Mileena and Michael was Reptile. What he tried to do was so stupid. He tried to uppercut me but I was out of range, so I swept him. I think that how I won both rounds. I couldn't pull off her fatality though. People were impressed. Last one Playing ESPN 2K5 and scoring a TD on a return kick.
  6. Brian Burke pawned off a lot of Ducks to the Rangers. I can't remember what we got for him.
  7. I'd get an Xbox 360 because I really liked my Xbox. I said I wouldn't buy a Gamecube but I did anyway. I would have to try that contoller a few times and like it in order to buy it. Playstation 3 would have to have a massive price drop and Blu-Ray would have to be the dominant media format before I buy one.
  8. Kind of. It wasn't as booming. I think he might have announced HeAT. I have that on tape somewhere.
  9. I don't know where the hell you went to high school but I don't associate Orton with that, The Internet hates those that pushed that are not Canadian or not named Chris.
  10. I can't believe Shawn Michaels is going to be hanging around for another 5 years. I don't hate him or anything, but wow. That's 150K tithed to church every year.
  11. I think Fink is a road agent. When I went to RAW when Randy Orton was champ, he came by our seats cause we were near the entrance., and thanked us for coming to the show.
  12. I don't agree with the article. The wrestling business has been improve over the last two decades. The WWE pays for drug rehab of the Superstars, and I think they pay for surgeries too. They aren't working as many shows as they used to. Because of PPV and the amount of PPV's, wrestlers are making more money. Curt Hennig did coke and had a heart attack. How would have a union saved him? Big Bossman had a heart attack too. Baseball has a union too but I don't think the MLBPA considers steroids a problem. Even if the wrestlers establish a union, Vince will fire them or get around it. There are so many pro wrestlers out. Plus then TNA, ROH, and whatever may not be able to meet the demands of the union. They could go out of business. It isn't like the NHL where all the teams are on equal footing.
  13. I thought Chinese Democracy was going to be released next Tuesday.

  15. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/4778575.stm A terrorist plot to blow up planes in mid-flight from the UK to the US has been disrupted, Scotland Yard has said. It is thought the plan was to detonate explosive devices smuggled on aircraft in hand luggage. Police have arrested about 18 people in the London area after an anti-terrorist operation lasting several months. Security at all airports in the UK has been tightened and delays are reported. MI5 has raised the UK threat level to critical - the highest possible. According to MI5's website, critical threat level means "an attack is expected imminently and indicates an extremely high level of threat to the UK". BBC home affairs correspondent Daniel Sandford says he does not think the police believe an attack is imminent. I was handed a piece of paper saying that pretty much nothing could be taken on board the plane Joe Lynam BBC journalist at Gatwick In full: Transport advice "The reason for raising the threat level is in case there is some other sub-plot, back-up plot around this that the police aren't aware of," he said. Scotland Yard said in a statement that their investigation into the alleged plot was a "major operation" which would be "lengthy and complex". "We would like to reassure the public that this operation was carried out with public safety uppermost in our minds." Home Secretary John Reid confirmed that there had apparently been a plot "to bring down a number of aircraft through mid-flight explosions causing a considerable loss of life". Prime Minister Tony Blair is on holiday in the Caribbean, but Downing Street said the police operation was undertaken with his full support and he had been "in constant touch". A spokesman for Number 10 added that Mr Blair had briefed US President George Bush on the situation during the night. Transparent bags The Department for Transport set out the details of the security measures at UK airports. THREAT LEVEL The current threat level is assessed as critical as of 10th August 2006 - this means that an attack is expected imminently and indicates an extremely high level of threat to the UK MI5 statement Reid's terror plea Passengers will not be allowed to take any hand luggage on to any flights in the UK, the department said. Only the barest essentials - including passports and wallets - will be allowed to be carried on board in transparent plastic bags. "We hope that these measures, which are being kept under review by the government, will need to be in place for a limited period only," the statement said. 'Jam-packed' At Heathrow Airport, BBC presenter Fiona Bruce said there were "ranks of people" unable to get into the terminal. "Terminal One is completely at a standstill. Nobody is being checked in at all." Stansted Airport Passengers have to put any carry-on luggage in plastic bags She said it was "jam-packed", but passengers were managing to remain "good natured". BBC journalist Joe Lynam encountered the increased security measures at Gatwick airport. "I was handed a piece of paper saying that pretty much nothing could be taken on board the plane," he said. "Everything had to be checked in and that includes mobile phones, ipods, wallets - even spectacle cases had to be checked in." British Airways said that passengers who do not wish to fly on Thursday can rebook on flights leaving over the next two weeks. David Learmount from Flight International Magazine said he expected passengers to be searched much more carefully. He added: "This is the first time this measure has actually been taken. Certainly I've never seen hand luggage banned."
  16. I don't have a HD Directv rig because it's expensive. I think it's $10 more a moneth. I do like playing Xbox and PS2 games in HD though. With TV and standard definition channels, I don't think the audio and the video are in synch sometimes.
  17. Maybe the Great Khali vs Hogan. I mean i've been thinking about this question. I think that the company needs to start building WM program now because Ford Field is big and WM III had a classic feel to it.
  18. Can you say $299? http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=24867981&sid=6155289 ://http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_b...mp;sid=6155289 ://http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_b...mp;sid=6155289 ://http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_b...mp;sid=6155289
  19. Next week. The WWE wishes Tommy Dreamer luck in his future endevours.
  20. I hate MK because I can't hit that A button fast enough sometimes.
  21. I watch both CNN and Fox because I am fair and balanced. It's weird how one network will cover a live event like a Bush speech (CNN, I am not kidding) and Fox will talk about something else.
  22. During the HBK/Hitman match, they played it while they were walking to the curtain. Austin had it played at WM 14.
