Every day of my life.

Surely there is a worthwhile story to be told there. It can't be that simple.

Liquor.
-
Then it should say total voters, not total votes.
-
It's easy to check why your level is where it is, for those of you who did not know. You see, it has a link under it.

I've got a hookup if you need more Tupperware.

Results: Crimson------2 Shit-----------2 Ombudsman-1 La Parka-----2 Total Votes: 4 Who tallies the votes here, goldengreek?
-
I think the conttrast of the blue/gray makes it look a little more auburn than it really is. We need to see the color on a white background to see it's true color. In other words, La Parka.

Bob as Ombudsman asks all the tough questions. Could it be his journalism background, or just common sense with no qualms about speaking up?
-
Oddly enough, I have never been given a warning via the warning level system. I have received several warnings and ultimatums, though. Of course, this just opens me up to get bombarded with warnings now.
-
Drury gave him a warning? Awesome.

"I'm...I'm sorry."

I really hope he brings up his street-smart journalism tactics like breaking the Stone Cold/Hulk Hogan story, or he at least posts his youtube video of that pole dancer.

Wow. Just...wow.

It took me a while on the TE Test, but I finally caught it.

I posted it a looong time ago in this thread, but gaspricewatch.com is much better IMO. I plan stops on long trips by following my route on the map.

I figured we could use some decent discussion in this folder. Maybe a topic a week (unless the topic doesn't get enough discussion for a full week) for a few weeks and see how it goes. The subject could be a wrestler, an angle, a PPV, a match, a maneuver, etc. I doubt this will be the saving grace for the folder, but maybe we could get some decent discussion going on. This week, we shall discuss the Elimination Chamber. Give your opinions on the concept of the match, and what its future may hold. Does it get you more excited than usual for a PPV? Are you totally apathetic toward the event? How could they do it better? After stating your opinion on the match, answer the following questions: 1. What was your favorite EC match? 2. What was your favorite spot from an EC match? 3. What spot have you thought of that would be great in the EC? 4. Should this match be done less often, more often, or as is? 5. Should the match be reserved for title matches/contender matches?

$4.05-$4.15. Ike didn't cause nearly the damage that was projected, and oil is at a 7 month low. However, we are 50 cents higher than last week. The refinery we have here is owned by Marathon, though, and they are based out of Houston. I spoke with a couple of execs from Marathon's headquarters today for work-related reasons, and I was tempted to ask them questions about when I could expect prices at the Ashland refinery to go back down.

There Will Be Water Edit---Here is the article in question. My original post was thinking that it wasn't about the water being scarce, but after re-reading it, I was wrong.
-
There was an article in BusinessWeek a few months back that talked a little about his wind farms. The main point of the article talked about how much money he was putting into buying water. He is buying millions of tons of water in Texas.

The hurricanes in the gulf caused gas prices to raise in Huntington, WV? The national average continued to go down. The fact that the hurricanes weren't as bad as they had been feared made oil drop 2 1/2% that day. For what it is worth, gas dropped back down 6-11 cents over town today. We have a huge oil refinery about 5-10 miles from our town. I was told by someone that works there that gas prices are actually higher in the area due to the refinery being so close. You would think it would be the opposite, but his reasoning made sense. He claims that (oil companies') refineries drop prices in the outer stretches of their territories to compete with refineries that overlap those territories. There is no competition right next to the refinery, so they can set the price higher for the gas stations in the immediate area.

Yes. All the cool kids were doing it. Hey, everybody...VX didn't used to be a 79 cent 22oz Miller Lite! Loser.
-
VERY late in my reply to this, but you can still get a 22oz Miller Lite for 79 cents here. We used to be a few of them and play dominoes on the front porch when I was in college. Fun days.

That theory is shit when you see how quickly prices of gas go up in regards to oil prices raising. Gas has been going down every couple of days with the falling oil prices. The national average on gas prices is still going down. For whatever reason (I might know the answer already), gas shot up an absurd 16 cents this morning in my area.
