I see a few reasons to watch it a couple of times. 1) First viewing was with the midnight crew that was mostly teenagers and they cheered over some stuff. 2) Had poor seats due to the sold out crowd. 3) Like to get a better perspective on the movie to see if it holds up to how you saw it the first time. 4) I have seen many movies where you notice things that you didn't see the first time. 5) It was a kick-ass movie that is going to be in the theaters for a loooong time and won't be on DVD until next year.

I never would have guessed that the r-train would turn out bisexual. I never thought he would get into women at all.

Huge series between the Brewers and Cubs this week!

I'd counter that with a wager that the sun will rise at some point during the next week.

Are you seriously questioning if anyone would ever want to see a live-action Transformers movie? I'm pretty sure there was a demand for it.

Well the Rockies have looked like the new fucking Murderer's Row in this series. Great pitching and defense as well.

Wasn't there a screen cap of your zombie use? It was when you broke the story on Leena using Czech's account here. Not that she would have lied to your or anything.

I'm sure it will soon be discussed in the forthcoming Box Office Thread, but The Dark Knight is estimated at $314,245,211 so far, after an estimated $75+M weekend. That smashes even more records (10 day, fastest to $300M, etc), and puts it $700K behind Iron Man for second highest on the year. So far, $16.5M is the lowest daily total the movie has done in its first 10 days. I got all of this from Box Office Mojo.

Imagine being a Reds fan.

I stay away from most applications. I get requests daily that I ignore without checking them out.

Where's Marshall Bravestarr?

Two guys that have been knighted, and a third who is also well-trained in theater and acting...to Ahnold or The Hulkster. Wow. I had forgotten about this.

Not to mention the very best OF; who doesn't exist, because he had a poor season five years ago. I know you like Pat Burrell, but he is not the best outfielder in the league. He has been very good this year, yes. However, he simply does not have the best numbers for an outfielder in the NL.

Maybe it's just the fantasy booker in me, but I believe we will see Jamie squash one of these guys he pisses off, thus impressing the girl, which leads to them becoming an item. However, this leads to a lot of people putting Jamie on their radar, and wanting a piece of him, causing him more of the same trouble he is in right now. After some time, we find out that the reason he was able to squash the first guy was that he made a deal with him. The storyline is that Jamie must keep that secret from her, and has all of these larger guys wanting to prove that he shouldn't be running off at the mouth. It won't lead anywhere major, but it will be some fine comedic relief on the PG level, and it gives some undercard guys something to do.

$4.06 is still the lowest here.

Perhaps because having every villain be the same would take the luster off? Bane was smart and did something that no one had done before. That is not cowardice. Cowardice would have been not facing Batman even when he was tired. Out of all those other times where people stood toe to toe with Batman, how did that work out for them?

Before his first AB on Friday, FSN Cincy had a stat that showed he was 6 for his last 26, all hits being homers. He has homered a couple of times since then, but I think he got a few non-homer hits in there as well. I'll do some quick research. Edit---From July 6-18, Dunn was 6-27 with 6 home runs. Since then, he is 7-17 with 2 home runs.

If it was like the Burton/Schumaker era, they would consider Batista for the role. Nolan would definitely want a good actor and not use much in the way of prosthetics or CGI. It might be impossible to have Bane in the series unless they went with a seriously toned down version of his size.

Bane was from a fictional Latin-American or Spanish island or town, IIRC. And his father eventually turned out to be King Snake, who was always depicted as white. I was thinking he had some Latin-American mix to him, though.

You should start a company that writes eulogies or obits.

I thought it was Chris Whatshisname behind that storyline.
