Good job with the reading comprehension, Boon. You only managed to leave out Widmore being the leader of the Others, Widmore initiating the purge, and the reason why Widmore told Ben that "everything he has is mine".

No that's not what I mean at all. Ben is older than Penelope so it makes sense that Ben could be old enough to throw Widmore out of power yet still have Widmore come back to Britain and father Penny. Ben must be 20+ years older than her so it could happen.

My crack theory: Widmore was the leader of the Others who initiated the Purge. Sometime after that Ben usurped his power and banished him from the island - Ben is older than Penelope so timeline wise it makes sense that he could come back and father her. The reason Widmore has so much money because he was tapped in to that sweet island cash that Ben now has access to and he somehow was able to get significantly enough back to start his empire in Britain. And that's how "everything you have you stole from me" makes perfect sense.

One weird thing about the baby being named Charlie... her father, who they hate, is also named Charles. I wonder what that conversation was like? Penny: But my dad tried to kill you! I hate him. Desmond: Charlie bloody drowned to save us, Penn. The least we can do is name somethin' after 'em.

I think that underwater rock sprint answers once and for all which BJ Penn is coming in to this fight. It was 2 days out of travel and he was in phenomenal shape. Thank God it's going to be both of them at 100%.

Last night's episode was fantastic... two good songs and a lot of good jokes. One of my favorites in the series, actually.

I kinda underrated Jamie Varner in my mind prior to this and I respect him a bit more as a champion now. He had some really good ground and pound. Cerrone is like a cyborg. And how about the post fight interview guy... "Jens, you have now lost three in a row. Are you still relevant?" Jens proceeds to burst into tears. Strong work.

Aldo running into the crowd was pretty cool.

Anyone watch this marvel of a show on the Travel channel? Guy has the greatest job in the world. He basically travels the US and tackles insane restaurant eating challenges. The craziest one I've seen so far is probably the "Hottest Curry" in the US... the cook prepared it wearing a gas mask. He won the challenge by eating an entire meal of this curry, which I believe was 60x hotter than a jalapeno. 8 lb hamburger, 11 pound pizza, 70 ounce steak are a few of the other ones I've seen. Basically it's the greatest show ever.

In the last 12 months whenever I eat bananas I get a really bad stomach ache after with cramping, etc. At first I attributed it to a bunch of other stuff because I never had problems with bananas but after it happened a few times and I googled it... apparently it's very common. Sucks because I like bananas.

I've caught a few episodes of the Simpsons in recent years that were actually really entertaining.
