Dana also announced yesterday that ESPN is going to start covering weigh ins and events on the network and treat it like boxing. Analysis, etc. They've already sorta started by showing the Serra and Couture wins on Sportscenter but we're moving into full blown coverage and analysis. Talk about an explosion in stature and popularity.

Who is that woman and how does she know Desmond? That's what I'm wondering. I liked Desmond's backstory this week as well as the episode. I agree with Rudo, I laughed at Jin and the ghost stories. I liked the interplay w/ Kate/Sawyer/Jack for once too. Lost has really hit its stride again, at least in my eyes. Too bad there are only 5 episodes left.

Oh good. The funny thing is that song was on when I was at Wegmans earlier (grocery store) and I wondered why because it didn't seem like popular fare. But it was the Ryan Adams version. They should do singer/songwriter week with Ryan Adams and have him give them advice drunk and/or drugged out of his mind. I've only seen him in concert once and hammered doesn't even begin to describe it.

Deal's on. Maybe I was wrong in the other thread about UFC 72 being on Spike. 70 was originally planned to be on HBO but they couldn't get the deal done in time... so now 72 is either going to be on HBO or Spike.

I'm amped for 70. Granted the fights seem a little one sided but I'm pleased as punch to be seeing Mirko, Bisping, Arlovski, Machida and Kongo vs. Ausserio Silva for free.

That wouldn't be too bad. I wouldn't abandon the Marlins, but I've been to PetCo Park and I loved it. I didn't get to see a game because the Pads were on a roadtrip the week I was there but I took the stadium tour so I walked the whole thing, sat in the Pads dugout, saw the player parking lot (Escalades galore) and even got to walk on the field. Good fun and well worth the $5 or whatever I paid.

I didn't dislike the episode. I was REALLY down on 24 earlier in the year when Jack's dad and brother were running a muck. It was the first time ever that I actually wasn't looking forward to watching the episodes. It's picked up a ton, lately with last week's episode being one of my favorites. The reasons I said eh to this one: 1) Nothing really happened on Jack's front except a set up for next week - which is why I think next week will rock 2) The Presidential stuff was a little flat for me (except the scene I mentioned earlier) 3) Morris/Chloe stuff was mildly annoying I mean - it was a decent enough episode but only an eh for me. (A little pitchy in spots. I don't know dog, it was only alright for me).

This week - eh. Next week - probably gonna rock. I thought the scene with Wayne having a stroke (which was pretty funny, btw) and then Noah putting the envelope back into his pocket was very well done. I also really enjoyed how they ALL realized that Jack wasn't going to listen to the order. At least after 6 seasons they realize.

His smoking hot girlfriend cheated on him and he went nuts and killed a bunch of people. Case closed. He's never doing better than that anyway. I deduced that from the fact that he was getting all emo on his blog listening to "What Goes Around" by JT on one of his blog posts. I'm shocked how much he looks like my friend Frolich.

Great episode. All the stuff w/ Johnny Sac and the Cleaver stuff was great. You can see the war coming. Phil Leotardo is going to take the power back and potentially go after Tony. But aside from that we have the impending Tony/Christopher showdown. The scenes for next week. I know the way they edit these things are always misleading but there appears to be a few shocking things going down.

I loved that episode. Lloyd is such a great character. Just perfectly acted. I spent a great deal of time laughing out loud.
