Butters centered episodes are the best and that was no exception. I love his golly gee optimism about everything. And the whole thing with Cartman... jesus. All of the suicides were a funny touch, as well.

I thought that was a great ending. I like how they made it look like Jack was running toward them and it turns out that he's just playing football. Very clever. I can't wait to see how they react. "Excuse me, I wasn't aware that they had a sonic death fence." Next week looks so badass. I can hardly wait.

Who plays? I'm just wondering if I've ever run into anyone on the tables... I play on Full Tilt only, as they are the only client that supports Mac at the moment. I play at Mike Legend 24 (inside joke turned into poker name). I mainly play tournaments and SnGs w/ buyins between $24 and $150. I do ok but I'm not exactly on the verge of becoming a professional. Anybody else on FT?

Nah. Seconded. I found it to be a fantastic CD. I put it slightly above the self titled debut.

I might as well add something productive to this thread. I really enjoy "Summer in the City". Just a nice little song. I get a Nelly Furtado vibe when I listen to this. Not in the music itself, but in the pop star who doesn't fit the mold and does her own brand of music. I just hope that in three years she isn't pumping out club bangers with Timbaland like Nelly ended up doing.

I read an article in TV guide saying that we are going to find out how Locke got into the wheelchair on 3/21. Wednesday is a Claire episode, and there's a Jin/Sun one coming up soon that deals with her pregnancy. The article also said that Desmond trying to save Charlie's life is going to be a running theme for the rest of the season.

Bloc Party - A Weekend in the City

When can we star making Pokey Chatman jokes? Now? She resigned today after being outed for having sex with one of her players. Glorious.

A) I realize that was a lame joke...that was the point B) I like Regina Spektor.

You have no idea how many people end up involved with jobs that have nothing to do with their college major. It's astounding. I don't fall in to that category so I can't really help but trust me... It's not the end-all, be-all...especially if you are smart and/or skilled.

I feel the same way about the new Bloc Party. I filed it away in my head as an album I don't like but everytime one of the songs comes up randomly on my iPod I find myself getting into it subconsciously. I don't know. Maroon 5 has a new album coming out mid-May. I first heard of Maroon 5 for the first time on this board in 2002 (!) and really, REALLY enjoyed This Love and She Will Be Loved. Well, those ended up being the 2nd and 3rd singles on the CD and the songs that catapulted them to megastardom amongst teenage girls. So yeah... I'm torn. I mean - I can see where people are annoyed by Maroon 5 but I liked them very much before they were popular. But either way - these guys were on the road for FOUR YEARS promoting Songs About Jane. This better be a good album.

This thread breaks my ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-heaaaart.

At least I'm getting killed by a quality poster.

That was pretty funny. I'd classify that as a strong start to the season.

I think it's really picking back up. The past two episodes have been solid and tonight's episode was the most entertaining that I can remember in a very long time. I was even on the edge of my seat at some points. Good flashback, good island scenes and next week looks badass. I am thrilled with the current direction.

Ok - I don't only listen to pop indie rock and mainstream pop rock bands. What is everyone's opinion on Ryan Adams? I know a few years ago he was considered a darling and then Rock N' Roll came out and everyone soured on him. I actually very much enjoy that album for what it is. Then in 2006 he released three discs; Cold Roses, Jacksonville Nights, and 29. Each had a different style and Cold Roses was a double disc. I have to admit, I didn't really give 29 a fair chance but most of the songs seemed very rambling. For the most part, it was well received. I think that Cold Roses was a great effort, probably best since Gold. How I'd rank Ryan Adam's albums: 1. Gold 2. Heartbreaker 3. Cold Roses 4. Demolition 5. Rock N' Roll 6. Love is Hell 7. 29 8. Jacksonville City Nights I slotted Gold over Heartbreaker because I really enjoy New York, New York as the lead song and Goodnight Hollywood Blvd as the closer. I also think the meat of the album is a slight bit stronger than Heartbreaker, but in my opinion you can't go wrong with either. Discuss if anyone still cares about him.

I can't believe Rob Neyer chatted for 6 hours and 37 minutes. Jesus. Josh Johnson is only out for two months. That's good news.

First aired: 3/7/2007 Production Code: 1101 With All Apologies to Jesse Jackson The "N" word hits South Park, and Cartman fights a midget. Sounds like a winner. Very much looking forward to it (and the whole season).

Yeah it sucks Assad died but I actually liked this episode. Plus Jack cut off a guy's finger w/ a cigar cutter. That's always a bonus.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

I'm not even sure he'll ever get another chance. He was coming off back to back losses to Rashad and Forrest and then he got hit with a pretty serious drug. I mean, if I remember it was something you'd have to be borderline retarded to get caught with. I'm not sure they're just gonna let him right back in. -
It's nice to see Dr. Pat have such a flourishing career. I thought it was going to be all downhill for her after she got three orgasms from the Hutch. She's one of my fave's on SNL as well. This was a good episode, I thought. Although I have really been enjoying this season.

If you are referring to it being the fact that they win all the time...well, that doesn't include me. I went to UNC (only for a year, but still...) I would hate Duke whatever their record is. And Coach K truly is the worst (or best depending on perspective) at milking the officials and media and making himself and Duke appear better than reality. Rat-face is always pumping up the officials on the sidelines and saying the right things to the media but every indication is that he is the biggest, self righteous asshole in the world away from the cameras. I never knew until recently but in one of his first years at Duke he yelled at Dean Smith to "go fuck himself" at the top of his lungs during the middle of a game. I can kind of respect the passion but at the time he was nobody. Show some respect for a legend.

Sports Guy on Coach K and yesterday's foul: I'm in the library writing a grant on my laptop and this caused me to laugh a little too loud for my surroundings. But I couldn't hold it in. Hilarious.

So wait a second... the guy from Best Week Ever's show is actually... good?
