Sorry to bump this but I've watched the first 3 seasons of this show and thanks to HBO on demand I'm about 1/4 of the way through Season 4. My favorite minor character is EASILY Cutty. What a fucking great guy. He was better in season 3 then so far in season 4 but he was really great in 3. I don't like Snoop. Bitch annoys me.

This season... I don't know. On Monday I ended up watching a few episodes of Season 4 of The Wire that just went On Demand over this. I mean, I recorded it and watched it later but I can't exactly say I was looking forward to it. It was a pretty decent two hour block but they need to really get things in gear. It didn't help that the house blowing up/Jack yelling bomb and jumping out the window bit was in the season trailer and I recognized it ahead of time. First time I've ever been down on this show.

Still a rumor at this point but a lot of the Mac Rumor sites are pegging a late March announcement and/or actual release.

Yeah - obviously it all depends on how he performs in the minors this upcoming season. When he was drafted, they said the timetable was late 2007/early 2008. He didn't put up amazing stats last year but his peripherals were solid and scouts raved about his makeup and mechanics. Who knows. As for prospects, I think a player like Dontrelle could bring in a king's ransom. Talent withstanding, his personality could play huge in a big city...especially since he was found not guilty of his DUI.

There are reports out of the Marlins FanFest that a few of the front office personnel have said that mega-prospect Chris Volstad and "very good" prospect Gaby Hernandez will be ready by September. In of itself, that's nothing anyone here cares about. The reason that I'm mentioning it here because if it's true...this will be the year you see a Dontrelle Willis megadeal. It almost makes me giddy thinking what he could bring back.
