Yeah - obviously it all depends on how he performs in the minors this upcoming season. When he was drafted, they said the timetable was late 2007/early 2008. He didn't put up amazing stats last year but his peripherals were solid and scouts raved about his makeup and mechanics. Who knows. As for prospects, I think a player like Dontrelle could bring in a king's ransom. Talent withstanding, his personality could play huge in a big city...especially since he was found not guilty of his DUI.

There are reports out of the Marlins FanFest that a few of the front office personnel have said that mega-prospect Chris Volstad and "very good" prospect Gaby Hernandez will be ready by September. In of itself, that's nothing anyone here cares about. The reason that I'm mentioning it here because if it's true...this will be the year you see a Dontrelle Willis megadeal. It almost makes me giddy thinking what he could bring back.

My patience is a little thin with the plot involving Jack's family. They better pay it off in a big way. I'm not about to say the show jumped the shark, but this season is definitely at the bottom of my list right now. The very bottom.

No, nothing came from the Marlins. They want a CF and I think Shannon is past that point in his career (and honestly, he never really was a true CF). Their corner OF are set. Damn, the Marlins need a CF bad, though. Alex Sanchez/Reggie Abercrombie/Eric Reed DEFINITELY isn't going to cut it.

He was cool for a little while. But season 2 was the weakest season, I didn't love the dock storyline Am I the only one who really enjoyed Season 2( Then again I really enjoyed all four seasons)? I mean it's behind only the first in terms of my favorite. I thought the dock storyline brought a fresh perspective on urban strife. If any season was slightly weak, I thought it was Season 3, the season just took too long to set up the main plot IMO. Yeah, it was Ziggy. Man, what a trainwreck of a character. I just finished Season 2. Solid stuff. Probably will start 3 after the game tonight or tomorrow.
